-WEB Connections

Spread my blog space around to others. This is my blog!

You can do whatever you want on your blog to some extent. That is all up to you. I’m just a nobody with an opinion. That does not make me the boss of anyone. But…

My view is; link to those of like mind or you otherwise enjoy and respect.

On WordPress, tags surfing is a good start. The new Readomattic is another place, as well as normal blog surfing. I also have linked to folks who replied to my post and whose sites I liked. I have recently added about ten more blogs to my blogroll off of Alphainventions and, which I’m actually surprised about. Playing Blog Roulette, or Blog Shift on those sites seemed so random, but on a few of my stops there I liked what I jumped off to see. They do condense the surfing ability.

But for me, a blogroll helps tell a lot about the blogger whose post one is reading. I might read several post on a blog before I get as certain a feel of what someone is about, while the blogroll might speak volumes on the fist page. I might have to get more restrictive now, to keep the bloggroll to a non dictionary size.  Another link in waiting, and perhaps the best place for me to discover other interesting to me bloggers, are my blogrollers blogrolls.

The blogroll is a handy way to visit my favorite sites. It’s also a way to discover when a blog goes inert, or otherwise changes. I have dropped a few off my roll as well. I enjoy seeing it when someone clicks one of my links.  Why hide these WEB connections that we like?

I will however; likely roll some other ones before long.

Happy linking.

And this is my post, in a thousand words or less, on why roll out a blogroll. Yep.

SAY WHAT? UH. I ALREADY KNOW THAT. SO? I wasn’t talking to you anyway.

“And we could not say it on TV if it wasn’t true.”

Now that might be a question. To be or?

I am surprised to see so many political blogs merely state what was just reported on TV.

The blogosphere can be a conveyor belt for many things, but personally, being a substitute TV set is a little below my naive expectations.

Oh. I imagine it is exciting. You hear or see something that is really interesting to you and you pass it right along, I can get that, but for politics, I’m a getting tired of hearing what I already know. Maybe I am asking too much of my fellows. Expecting too much originality. But telling me who just won whatever state? If I was a politico, which I am of sorts, I would likely already know that, or soon find out. You could have told me of your near accident today. Or a new bird seen outside your window this morning. Now that would say something of who you are, aside from the TV.

I just read a post on my tags that was literally a repeat of what the talking heads were saying, and I wonder who the passer along-er is? A recorder? Each primary day seems to be filled with regurgitated TV news, which after about 5 minutes is no longer late breaking, especially on political nights.

I know I am being rude and picky in a sense, and you could be rude to me about my stuff, but at least my stuff is my stuff mostly. I am not in love with my TV set, and am a bit sorry for those who are. There are shows I like and try to see somewhat regularly, but guess what? I am not going to be typing to you all the time about what just happened on them. Nope. Not gonna do it.

I would like to hear of your life, just not so much your TV life and TV latest breaking TV stories. I would not mind if you put them on in a manner that shows a tag, like, tag; just saw the news show want to hear?, that could be a tag. Put a category like tag; Science Fictions Channel show talk, and hey, I might go there. Tag; discussing Ghost Hunters, cool, I might check that out too. I’m for that straight forward TV show review. Even a political repeat with a question for thought on the end would be of some merit. But repeating reports? “How cool is that?” (Direct TV add woman).

(The elitist opinion above does not necessarily reflect the views of this post, nor of the authors sponsor, who happens to be himself, nor of our advertisers, who happen to be nobody.)

As for my day, it was back and neck breaking, more news to my body than of world events. I am looking forward to going to bed and letting that tension subside. Quit taking it out on unsuspecting bloggers just being excited. But I must ask. Why do spell checkers not have blogging and many computer lingo in their data bases yet? Seems a bit absurd. End of days complaints.

You have a good day right now though. Whomever you are. That is an order from your monitor. Yes. You are looking at me!  Have I ever told you, Hi?

It is good we share our points of view on things, including candidates. Good to a point that is.

The hard to believe part, the mind numbing thing is the near constant kind of “plagiarism” that occurs when we repeat talking points as if they were our own meditated enlightenment’s of mind and heart.

The right wing of things have turned this into quite an art and way of life even. ‘Attack them there so they won’t attack us here’, was repeated so often, its out of world and human reaction context was sent down the drain. It was just lately the accusation that those who are against pre emptive actions of war are for the old Nazis winning over the Allies. When, which of those two were actually using the pre emptive concept on their population?

The left wing is full of concepts more like Swiss cheese than anything solid, true. But I am not going into how they pass their own symbolic concept test around to check for purity. This is about we off the Internet common bloggers.

Today I have read tag post from the left and right, or more accurately in favor of two parties candidates, that are nothing more than regurgitated talking points. One mentioned the badness of the “socialist” agenda by one candidate. I imagine it was not in reference to the current socialism the wealthy enjoy thanks to all our hard efforts, and yes, taxes we will pay one day to cover all their business expenses allegedly for our own good. It must have meant the socialist buzz word chants usually truncated view constantly bombarded at us from one direction.

Then there was one whose few points and short post was about one candidates readiness to start on day one, with experience, maturity or whatever, some word for word talking points being used to sway “followers” away from a certain inspiring candidate. Yeah, all sound bites are meant to tag our brains, but need they push out our own thoughts? If one cannot think for oneself, just say; “I am voting for blank, here is the link to their site so they can tell you all the propaganda I now have absorbed as the reasons why I am voting for them. Thanks.”

Too harsh? Maybe so.

It seems we do not, as a nation in general, know what are good personality traits or kinds of experience to chose one candidate over another. We say experience as if humans do not have experience unless they are on our side. We say leadership, or national security, without a thorough comprehension of what the dimensions of national security are.

It has seemed to be reduced to; will you kill the bad guys for us who are out to wipe us out for good? Get them before they get us? The notion has inherent stupidity encapsulated to time release in it. “No. I am going to let whomever do whatever they wish to us. I am for freedom of all.” This is akin to the answer expected from those against national security types associated, (through much hard work and propagandized expense) to one party.  Just pretend that all this attacking does not create blood feuds to endure through generations, nicely serving varying conservative cults for years and lifetimes to come.  Until obliteration day.

Am I using my precognition powers to deduce how future post will regurgitate endlessly, the talking point sound bites of one side or another? Don’t make me laugh by saying yes! I have sore muscles on my side and you don’t want to hurt me do you?

By the way, I am sure someone has used all these words I am using before, even phrases, I apologise to all of you for taking these words out of your own mouths. I did not mean to. But perhaps you should have claimed them like “fair and balanced” so I could not say them without your permission. Better hurry since I am claiming the legal ownership of all words so I can become unimaginably rich. What? You have already claimed all the letters! Darn!

But my friend says he is better, or she is in possession of the right kind of experience. Oh Boy! Democracy! Run for the hills! The clones are coming! The clowns? No the clones! Wait a minute. What did he say they were?
