An Ordinary Day

An Ordinary Day

Just a breeze

an ordinary cloud

will not be known

behind a tree

Just another word

part of a long kite tail

a dream left up on high

a sleeping past on hold

recycled phone books

lost behind the Internet

Cats coveting motion

over ordinary earth

dirt under my feet

all the way to China

or was it Indonesia

and then to your place

A world always filled

with ordinary ants

restless leaves sunning

children wondering

will the world notice

a miracle they knew

this Ordinary day
