In Presidential Debates; Reality still seeming to hold sway

Battle for those independent voters who seem to wait on a Pivot Point of Perception to tip their sense of gravity to one side or another.  How curious.

The cameras were on the mud throwing going on in the infield of the campaigns of late. That mostly from the angry and desperate right fielders. (McCain 100% negative adds; Obama 33%). The debate basses are now loaded with Democratic hits. The fourth debate may deliver the grand slam in the bottom of the ninth.

We have seen the Republicans attempts to alter reality and perception to fantasy issues, end up striking their own players out. But in their alternate reality; they assume attacking is victory. Seems only two wild pitches are in their bullpen; throw mud, and if that fails, beg for voter sympathy.

It isn’t pretty to see the vast difference between the quality of the players involved. One side claims to automatically posses righteousness from which it cast shame and blame. The other; needing to earn respect the political hard way, fending off shame and blame and still, coming through to score. When campaigns tell teh hones truth for the American Home Team, we score. Not for the wealthy elites, the average citizen.

Not the make believe citizens where abstractions are selectively quantified to ideology, one that consumes and spits out our commons, then blames the middle class and poor for their plight. Not the one having to plead and pander to the referees to change the rules and the game to suit their misguided beliefs, then condemn questions.

But do not worry for the losing team. They can be counted on to obstruct the solutions if they do not benefit their bases one way street of perceptual prejudice. The common good, as the health of the commons itself, is viewed by predators as a feeding ground. Not Sacred Ground.

May the Democrats begin to attempt to turn our systems declines around with all our grace. It is We the People who will have to oversee them, for no party is the solution to what is ailing America and the World.

Our (my) previous announcement of a new version 7.2 McCain is being withdrawn. Instead; it is now believed that version 3 will be used outside of debates. Version 7 reinstated next debate as well.

This observer also discovered something he did not quite know he knew; conservatives, when they aren’t bullying, treat people as children, not adults. They seem to plead and whine towards audiences, or otherwise act as the stern parent scolding. I think you have to go back to IKE to get an adult one.

This may explained partly why so many followers of conservatism’s style, go for the folksy have a six pack with ya style. Then think that mature talk is elite, or otherwise aloof. They seed crops of anti-intellectualism. Many aware citizens now realize that we need intelligent and thoughtful people as heads of state.

This may also hearken back to the observation that conservatives look for someone to follow, while liberals look to someone to lead. One more passive, one more active towards the issues of the commons. Our interactive and interrelated common ground of life.

Obama behaved just as I would wish a president to. McCain pandered and alluded to most things of concern as being simple and easy; that he knows how to do that. Unfortunately; this very attitude of passivity of the will, is what brought the last 8 years the now backlogged pile of accountability’s We the People must repair domestically and internationally.

Which maverick will we see in under two hours?

The old Maverick, claiming past maverickness?

The new Maverick? Claiming looking back (except in Obama’s case) is bad. New Mavericks look forward?

Or the revamped Palin/McCain Maverick tag team? Now looking at Obama. Now playing the ropes. Now
opposite of a minute ago. So new, but the good kind of new? Flip flopping Maverick situationalism that one can trust in, cause they know one position is gonna be another another day? That familiarity maverickity that says anything to get elected that is supposed to work to get votes?

Oh. By the way. That 3 million dollar bear research in Montana that John McCain ridiculed as wasteful Washington pork. Well. It was actually more like 5 million dollars. And oops, John McCain voted for it! Do not look back, except into certain personal prison cells.

The John McCain that many thought could never decide where exactly he stood on so many issues; some liberal inclinations, and some not. He was called a maverick as a positive spin on not fitting in. Which more or less meant he was too liberal for the conservative cult train that has run down the Republican rails. Some analyst have suggested he is caught between two opposing ideological heroes, and never could marry the two.

The new McCain had to romance the right wing to get enough support to beat the est of the sorry pack they ran this year. He seems to have bought his own seduction towards the right, even going further and putting one of their clueless followers as his running mate.

Now the new version will have to “act”; as if they are virtually progressive liberals, while then claiming to be solid money makes right conservatives, with might makes right indoctrination mindsets as strength. Of course the now signature folksy you all know and love us diversion has to be used to counter the positive qualities of Obamas fresh approach to inclusion.

The challenge of the New Maverick Version 7.2 will be to claim being fresh while seasoned properly. This, while the whole baloney deli of ; Who really is Barack Obama mystery man?; must ceaselessly insist that Obama is the one who does not read reality right. Questions made up about him will be the "proof" that he is unknown. This is known as circular logic in the cult field. He thought Palin won with it, so here we may go.

The righ seems to be insisting that it was poor people and Democrats who really caused the trillions in market loss. It is a study in sophistry by corporate mindsets and conservative unaccountability. The clock ticks.

Here is perspective from Bill Maher to help counter the incitements to violence being carried on by the McCain/Palin ticket to disaster.

It is disheartening to see the McCain Palin ticket devolving into a bottom dweller side show. Those attending rallys shout out “terrorist” towards the Democrats name mentioned, and now the Secret Service is checking in on one who was shouting death. And we thought Islamicist were the only bad guys.

A Halloween freak fest is becoming their; take risk with the truth with America gambling strategy. The scariest part is; the ready and willing shills they command to spread their conjured up fears as fact. Yea! Duh! He hangs around with terrorist. Duh. He’s not like us, duh!

Oops.  Forgot to mention that Republicans as well sat on the board with the alleged terrorist.  Oops.  Just ignore the curtain folks.  The dynamic OZ duo have spoken?  Hangen’ around with terrorist?  McCain sends the strong woman out to throw the mud.  How chivalrous.

Of course I am directly referring to the brief Obama association with someone he hardly knew, nor knew of his past politics when Obama was 8, while Palin’s own bed partner is in bed with a group founded by a guy who “hates everything America stands for, and its damn flag.’ Talk about the pot calling the kettle.

A Halloween nightmare of desperate imaginations seems to have drawn its very essence from mud, manure and manic desperation.

Perhaps the campaign could get a long run on Sci-Fi Channels Scare Tactics. They seem qualified for that at least.

Tonight, McCain’s next attempt at pulling a reckless liberal out of a hat. Shoving their hocus pocus magic wand into America’s face. Got to avoid the real issues of survival at hand. Prepare for the distortion express. I’ve got popcorn.

Will the real Sarah speak? Uses the public to dress up in voice styled to audience. Uh? Change we can count on? Trust in? And for the inciting of near hate speech towards the Democrats by both of them? Ah?…Sure. Bringen’ the nation together. Right. Say it aint so.
