The thunderstorm complex heading towards Chicago, hours away at 9:30am, cdt., seems to be weakening on its north flank that seems headed for the city. However, daytime heating may not leave the Chicago area completely in the clear. It seems thunderstorms will race into the city in a couple hours or so.

Central Illinois currently in line for todays sever weather.

Many tornado reports from yesterday.

Today I will not be “on” the breaking weather stories, having to be away from my computer.

The good people at NOAA, The Weather Channel and other news sources will be at their jobs.

The Weather Channel

R

Heavy rain in Midwest May 29-39 to spread to Northeast May 30 to June 1.

Thanks for checking in.
