He is addressing the mindset psychology of the Casual Americans

I live in Arizona, and am glad to say I have never voted for either AZ Senator, but apparently many have. They get reelected, as many do in this nation, by the revolving doors of name recognition and voter non recognition of all the issues their vote will effect. I do not know one thing McCain did for me or my fellow Arizonans. I do know Senator Kyl constantly produces convoluted rationalizations to support the president and the neocon agenda of rights subjugation, also being a constant ideological apologist for failing conservative concepts, while blaming liberals for all of our ills.

During the economic booms of the last 20 or more years, much of Arizona has been dominated by the pro growth crowd. These tend to be pro business, not pro worker, or environment, or social responsibility to the disadvantaged etc, they ride high on their faux horses, riding up on the retirement and relocation flow into the Desert Southwest, which produces the look of expanding advancements.

Many low paying jobs in construction and many in service sectors are created here in a “right to work” state, which means a right for you to the lowest pay possible for your work. Under-regulated growth does provide a surge in jobs of a sorts, but the consequence of low wages and environmental degradations are passed onto the future, as are the common of the values of conservative delusions of superiority–they do not need to acknowledge the long term consequences of their actions or policies, or even the existence of a commons or fundamental cohesive societal contract.

RIGHT. THEY ARE THE ONES WE ALLEGEDLY TURN TO IN FEAR

Though Iraq had not an al-queada to be seen before the invasion, that invasion under false pretext has turned Iraq into a recruitment mecca for terror. It is said terrorist go there to train for “work” elsewhere. Yet stolen democracy here at home aside, our alleged spread of democracy to other places, was not the go along induced coma mantra the public was put into in 2003 to 2001. We were told we were going to be attacked so attack them first, remember?

The umbilical cords of power fed just the necessary amount of mis and disassociation’s to confuse the public as to this administrations actual hubris driven fantasy goals, and war profiteering interest. If anything; the level of naivete in the general populations was astounding; A VAST MAJORITY SUPPORTED WHAT THEY NOW ALLEGEDLY OPPOSE. The bill for the future for this public laziness of mind?

Many trillions of dollars and unknown blowback from those who perceive themselves to be harmed by the US actions in their area and to their kind. All to be payed for by this very same public! The price will include the tax of ever rising prices, of ignored energy and social needs. It will be the bill that just keeps on delivering. Around the world, the reaction to US power, exercised to the benefits of corporate profits and global hegemony, will create more and more adversaries which will then feed into the same dysfunctional cycle of reaction used by reactionary interest to validate those same reactionary interest. Truly a cancer of the human psyche.

Yet these very right wing apologist and corporate sycophants will rail against big government and tax increases. They will make the average individual think that waste and misbegotten government spending is the fundamental cause of what eats away at their paycheck. Exactly the phenomenon the powerful create with disintegrating infrastructures, eroding rights, global meltdown, genetically cross contaminated food genes getting lose, and the profit syphoning of wages earned by most regular Americans. In the make believe world of right wing ideologues, government waste, and profits go to my friends.

MANIPULATING AN IMPLIED LACK OF PATRIOTISM FROM QUESTIONING LEADERSHIP

We should be thankful for the troops who do their job, but not the falseness in the delusional minds who sent them there. Yet these entrenched oligarchy power groups attempt to have us assume we, or our neighbors, do not support the troops, for proclaiming support the troops assumes the troops are not supported. What was actually not supported in proclamations from the right, was how the troops are used as a political foil to stand in front of and hide a degenerating empires attempts to acquire diminishing world resources, to line the pockets of the big haves with ever increasing wealth and reward their loyal followers. The rest of us are left to our own devises, just as New Orleans was left to drown.

It is an amazing exercise in dumb-think to listen to the George Will’s of this world, and the Grover Norquist–the drown government in the bathtub guy. These individuals and their ideological deluded kin make a killing off of spreading the seeds of separation and contempt for the commons. As if governments only role is to kill the people they do not like, otherwise, stay out of the way of social and environmental plunder, and show no empathy or compassion to your fellow humans who do not adjust well to an exploitative and opportunistic predatory system. (their actual “spiritual” Darwinian false premise) These not only promote a form of totalitarian mind control by the few and for the many, they betray the very essence of the American Commons; the communal declaration of independence and mutual regard as human beings in collective relationships.

In the last several days I have had the opportunity to hear both of these people speak on interview shows. Norquist, prodded by Stephen Colbert, would never acknowledge that government should even fix roads. Who do these ideologues think is going to do all the work necessary to make this nation work, and work in some sense of fairness? The Halliburton’s? Exon-Mobile, since they still use tanker trucks? Whomever funds your personal think tank? Simply stunning in mind-blank and misanthropic contempt.

THE PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY IN A DEMOCRACY

There were and are some Americans though, who could see through the smoke screens and deceptions from day one. Speaking for myself; I know what propaganda looks and feels like, and I know false arguments when I see them. Apparently, by the evidence, many of our fellow voters can not tell the difference, or take their citizenship responsibilities as some sort of very casual acquaintance, or ideological/party dumb-think.

The delusional mindsets of the right are hard at work again attempting to anesthetize the population by election time. If history is the example, they have to get within a few million votes to pull off a many fronted steal. If that proves to be an unlikely scenario, by summers end possibly, they will need to create the might is right jingoism parade to convince the casual Americans that it is patriotic to support false pretext, false assumption, false dichotomy, and otherwise false association impressions as to what we stand for here.

It now seems the conservatives are ready to stoke the mud slinging forked tongue express. McCain has sent an apparent signal for a go ahead with the Words of Mass Deception campaign to come, by expressing his lack of control for the things that may be said about his opponent. The casual Americans will meet over phone’s or talk after the smear add on TV and say; I didn’t know he was like that, how scary. But they will not mean the producers of the add and who it will serve, but the desired target of it.

As we have seen, and hopefully presumably know; say a lie often enough and it will stand side by side with the truth, and quite possibly, cover that truth with a coat of slime, so that we know longer know what it looks like. No. I do not mind being blunt in this piece. A country is at stake as is all of our futures. The time of talking to one another as if we were babies is over. A population that goes on to believe in misinformation long after the actual truth has come out has been induced into some kind of delusional mindset.

There is a whole cable news network dedicated to irrational ad-hominem reasoning masquerading as common sense and decent American values. It is part of a huge media conglomerate owned by and dispersing the ideological prejudice of its non US owner, who despises liberalism. Many other cable news networks went on to try to out mimic this one when irrationality was on such an ascendant just six years ago. In this pathetic follow the money leader breed of “journalism”, the nation is now subjected to ideological biases that come to be seen as truthful reporting of the issues. Almost always, cherry picked issues and ways of perceiving them. Stealthy biases such as loading commentators to the right of the spectrum, tends to gradually drag perceptions that way. This is why media consolidation is so essential to corporate control of information and ideas, necessary to wash the inconvenient facts and context away.

GET IN LINE AND CONFORM OR BE SEEN AS AN OTHER

We are to march like robots just as in 2003, not as a free people, but as an old world warlord bunch of followers afraid to think for themselves or stand up for the nations principles, instead, be more like a mind controlled cult. What have we actually learned of these war loving misanthropes? Once we are perceived to be under fears spell, we stop asking questions as to reality checks and viable strategy, as well as why we need then send our sons and daughters into harms way for our alleged defense. We are then the pawns of manipulators and predators of the nations very soul. All while the media makes catchy phrases to glorify the dumb-think parade and its floats and clowns.

We may have awaken a little from the nightmare mentality the spell casters had us in. Years of obvious misrepresentations and contemptuous incompetence has taken an obvious toll on the previous delusions of grandeur. Now, since that road to deception has proved to have become slightly problematic, the might makes right money making machinery of conflict seeks a more acceptable, to the casual Americans, way of war. A button pushing way to send terrible weapons to rain down upon both the suspecting and average people, including children and the unborn, of some other country. Unless America has woken up for good, the bad will come back to haunt our hearts once again. After we see the merrily wave flags and hear the issue statements of fighting the likes of the Nazis, we may well then go on to act quite like them.

THE PUBLIC TOO BUSY TO DO DEMOCRACY? THEN WE WILL LOSE IT

It is in this context of the casual Americans, too busy to bother with details of their governments doings in the world, or too confused or removed from history to remember what Dwight D Eisenhower once warned them of so many decades ago; about the collusion of the business and military industries and their congressional cronies, who see a war machinery as good for profit margins and great lifestyles. Now it seems the fourth estate, once the public interest guardian, is now most interested in what sells add space, and not the unbridled truth and its inevitable consequence.

We the People usually do not accept any accusations that we are asleep at the wheel. In fact, some manipulative interest use apparent criticism of the public as a wedge to bias the public to its pandering viewpoints. Notice how quickly Obama’s reflection on why some Americans seem stuck in certain ways to certain patterns. He actually said they cling to what they feel is steadfast in a way. Religion and keeping ones own defenses up. I do not disagree with that entirely at all, many of us value what we know as a sense of security in this many faced world where so few trustworthy institutions seem reliable.

Many Americans have every right to feel bitter, when they can see how Washington and the stolen government cares for itself above them. But these not quite well said words of Barack Obama were spun in circles like a spiders web to catch their prey. Not Obama exactly, but who might feel he is a new answer, attacking him through them. This is diverting attention to score a point, much more than the put down by Obama it was built up to be.

HURRY! ALL ABOARD!

The way Cognitive dissonance tends to direct accusations somewhere else. A convenient target is the one delivering the criticism. This kind of personal cowardice (a stress induced procrastination in self development, adjusted to in projection as seeming to be coming in from someone else) is a hallmark of many a dysfunctional human being. Now we are seeing this strange zeitgeist Teflon coating on John McCain, as if since he once served as one of the troops, he gets a permanent pass or bypass on criticism, especially on defense matters.

That most of his positions have gone around and around in circles, while he is seemingly not too concerned how correct he is about Sunni, Shia and al-queada profound differences and even hatreds of one another is mind boggling in its morass of contradictions. It is as if one more calm speaking (in front of the cameras!) conservative will melt down the casual Americans shield of suspicion, to once again accept the mind unplugging certitudes of conservative abstractions unconnected to actual realities on the ground. We are fine with staying in Iraq as long as we are not being killed? What? As permanent occupiers? Or as the symbol we were in Saudi Arabia which helped generate most of the 9-11 hijackers? That kind of fine and not being killed? No he suggest. Like Japan, Korea and Germany, entirely different issues in comparison to the Arab World I must say.

Remember Rove’s alleged comment; and I paraphrase; ‘You guys (reporters) are stuck in the reality world, the clumsy world of facts. We are the actors of history, its creators, we do things. You all just follow in our wake.’ Now John McCain seems headed toward the favorable 2 to 1 bias in his favor that Bush enjoyed over Al Gore pre-election. The “press” has long liked his congenial style and his once maverick notions of independence from the conservative dumb-think express.

Now, though he is seated on board that very express, his ex POW status is to make him invincible of the very security issues that are undermining the interest, the greater interest of the founding principles of this nation he once served in combat. Proving age, as well as experience, does not guarantee wisdom or truthfulness. McCain has been shown to have held the opposite position of many of the positions he now allegedly embraces. His spinning personality and its “free ride” is to benefit whom exactly? We the People?

THE GREAT BUTTER UP–Works Most Every Time

Years after a war is proved to be both ill conceived and misrepresented to the extreme, after untold thousands of lives were lost and uncountable ill will produced for generations to come. Oh, how we like those politicians and press who tell us how hard working, tough, decent and noble a public we are, as they laugh behind our backs, or at times, right out in public before their elite base goes on to consume the commons out from under your feet.

The easily frightened but casual Americans so prevalent throughout the population, will snicker about intellectual elites, latte drinking aloof liberals, you know who we mean, snicker, head shake. They know who stands for right. The aiders and abettors of the salve of ignorance and contempt applied by conservative sycophants to power in the press and media, will seek to emotionally bias the casual, hard working or not white voters, and those who embrace the interest of the casual elite, but hard working or not white voters lifestyle.

For once anyone is so far out on the plank of illusion, to call one deluded is taken in as calling one a name, which they will certainly take umbrage at. This seems to be the operational attack mode conservatives conjure up in election cycles. The media eats it up as all fair to the battle, the battle to bury truth in context for excitement value. The battle to get more market share and sell advertising space to the highest bidder.

RECOGNIZING THE CASUAL AMERICANS

There are definite traits to the Casual American. They see the nation as one divided into both parts and separate identities. They vote and listen for self promoting notions. They vote on these self absorbed at the surface issues. They vote for wealth maintenance, or poverty help. They vote for their gender, or their race.
They vote for their particular religious identity, or their job interest. They do not see the whole of things. They suffer under their own separation and alienation complexes viewpoints.

They do not vote by actual policy necessarily, but what looks like their kind of person who represents their kind of interest. They are lead to believe this is what responsible citizenry is about; about forwarding your own subjective view, and not the big view. They are seduced by pandering mechanisms to believe their view will dominate and become permanent. They are then seduced into separation in a more permanent way. They also can not see out of the box to notice what tactic’s and strategies are being used against them, or why the more things are said to change or be for the better, the less good that seems to actually spread throughout the nation.

In any country, these small viewed folks are seen by others, even those who might be just like them in their own ways, as self centered and spoiled. How and what spoils them might in the particular, have the appearance of opposites, but in reality their ideological views feel may well produce the same contemptuous feelings about the others in the culture not quite like them. This is the small lizard brain view of conservatism and orthodoxy, with its intrinsic shoot oneself in the foot behaviors, while feeling proud and true.

If we vote on this surface view of things like the Casual Americans, we are one. If we feel offended by someones behavior, even tough they share our beliefs, and go on to support its near opposite, in effect by tantrum outside the political realities to prove a point, we are voting self absorbed and not in the interest of the big picture. Now the pandemic individualism of the Westernized World “gives” us every right to do what we want, how we want, within the law (for some). That separation psychology does not in itself create the right behavior, but may well create the opposite of our actual belief’s even though we think we are acting in our own interest. That some manipulators have come to rely on this sort of contrapuntal confusion, is a testament to how much psychological warfare is going on at election times, and how little of the public knows how to perceive their own actual interest, nor how to factually identify the facts in context from fantasy.

The Casual Americans are expediting, not just a global meltdown, but one of Democracy as well.

THE EMERGING TOTALITARIAN ONE WORLD CORPORATION

IF THE USA WAS PRESUMED TO BE THE STANDARD OF DEMOCRACY, DEMOCRACY IS FAILING.

Power corrupts as power does. Because of this, democracies are falling to competing and converging power interest, both religious and corporate/political.

If humankind was once more egalitarian as evidence indicates in some areas, even matrilinear, with women carrying significant if not preeminent spiritual roles, the might makes right take over by men has possibly polluted spiritual perception, even to the extent of how spiritual conceptions are qualified.

It is alleged that men, fearing woman’s creative power, and other men’s sexual interest, began to dismantle the role and authority of women, to the extent that until quite recently in historic terms, women were not considered to have a soul in some cultures. In some belief’s, the woman could not question the husband. In places, women were even killed for not providing an heir (often meaning a boy).

Men to this day, often think of women as a kind of slave; to do what they say and not talk back. This is enforced by the often cowardly bullying tactics of might makes right. Superiority complex entitlement gets passed on, often by cognitive dissonance like selective amnesia about the inherent value of individuals other than oneself, especially those that can be boxed into a group in consciousness, an “other” group, with implied unknowns and unknowable motivations, and hence, threats. Superiority complexes are most always created to offset ones own inferiority beliefs subversively haunting self esteem.

Certain cultures have suggested a more balanced perception of human individuality and relationships to one another and the Divine. These were easy marks for male dominator warrior groups, who as far as might makes right is concerned, could rollover virtually unarmed targets. Indeed, modern warfare is attempting to evolve into a one world dominator might is right, where those who dissent or question will be if “need be”, easily eradicated by the push of a button, or directive by any higher-up to so do. This power will be intrinsically evil, since might does not make right, and in humans hands, unequal power corrupts consciousness.

Our nearly paralyzed two party platform in the US is easy prey for power interest, as many can be bought off through lobbying and assumed sworn loyalty. One party has quite the foundations of the predatory feeding ground for the one world corporate hegemony. The other is halfway compromised, but even more seductively so, since conflict of interest in the fallen fourth estate, goes mostly under the radar of public perception. Two parties were to, in theory, come to represent a kind of yes and no and then compromise, in our political system. That attempt at balance is being overthrown.

WHERE ARE THE EYES AND EARS?  AND WHO ARE THEY?

The public is at the mercy of moneyed power interest who literally can buy their ways into might makes right domination. From media ownership share, to right wing or corporatist individuals hiring think tanks and promoting laws that take away the individual fair access to unfiltered important news. We do not know when we are fed propaganda as truth, and bias as fair reporting.

That allows power to pivot perceptions in significant ways to their viewpoint when they so require. Those of us who search for truth and differing opinion on the Internet are at the inevitable mercy of these power groups and associations who need to sculpt perception to their angle. Our window of opportunity may be a relatively short one.

The media is cast as some liberal forum, by those taking the right of critical thought away, and instead, alluding to their prescriptions of what is loyal as being the citizens duty how and what to think. One can be astounded at the slow but relentless turn around in perception in might makes right in Iraq, as the population has literally shifted by some 50% from being pro to con over 5 years. Why did it take so long and at such a cost for half the population to wake up to all the deceptions thrown at them? Why can we not see how wedge issues and impaired critical thinking, particularly the bombardment of false premises led by ad hominem accusation and assumption, grab our emotions to act against the actual likely truth?

Corporate hegemony is not yet absolute, and facts come in from the world; of death, destruction, devastation of economies, fracturing of fragile social structures and identities into tribal warfare. The intrinsic cosmological confusion of jingoist dreams of force straighting out deep historic dysfunction and group revenge psychology, is amplified by the hubris of the delusional who believe destruction is more relevant to creative change than understanding.

Diverting societies attention from mass manipulations is the bread and butter of dominator paradigms, be they religious or of the far left or far right, and also now, securing resources for society and world share control. We face an oncoming highly structured world culture of a few haves, and for the most, have little. The recipe for complete slavery, perhaps with a cartoon sideshow of alleged public input, and no meaningful means of redress of grievances.

Democracy, and the rights of the individual are nearing a precipice of darkness. It remains to be seen if we rise up into the light of understanding, insisting on unbridled truth and diversity of interpretation, or are seduced or forcefully cast into the rationalizations of darkness.

ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS AND THE SCHOOL THEORY

Most Americans (Christians) follow a second book of the Bible, well they used to, many of its teachings are becoming eradicated. But this opens up the question, particularly since from the “Old Testament” New, and other books, have followed the teachings of Prophets or been assembled by their followers; How many new Prophets and sections of the Bible are to come after the first one?

Thus comes the “Sacred School” theory. When I was a member of a church, it considered itself a third sacred school. It saw the Old Testament as directed at a more savage state of human consciousness, where laws and orders were the rule of the day since humans could not be expected to do the right thing, for it not being obvious in their own consciousness.

According to that theory, Jesus Christ came along to initiate a second school of thought when people could handle it. People were now more ready to comprehend right from wrong, but still often chose wrong for their own advantage. Christ then introduced the mental way of reasoning to rightness. Parables and such gave the individual reasons to think more deeply on their decisions and perhaps their ramifications, not because a law said yes or no, but because you yourself could reason what was right to do.

Other Abrahamic religions have this advancement noted in human comprehension as a now inherent moral sense. Currently we have some religions and groups who have gone further on the sacred school concept for various reasons. The one I was in believed they embodied a third advancement into a spiritual phase having grown out of Christianity.

Now allegedly, we were or are able to comprehend, that much greater than ourselves and act in a cogent manner accordingly and naturally to what is Divine Intention on our own. In that groups view, suddenly many spiritual practices and belief systems have in part moved up to this allegedly new level. That level being a spiritual awareness that is transcendent into a presumed inevitable continuity between individual desire and universal harmony. Implying that if and when I am fully true to myself, I will be true and congruent with all life, whether understood by events or not. Here it is presumed one is then one with God, or if you prefer, Being, or the Soul of existence.

While I personally find the view uplifting, and discovered many people who seemed to live by a higher identity with God or Beingness, a de facto refusal to recognize that at times any individual human may be dealing with issues that draw them back into prior schools of thought, could not be acknowledged. The church expressed it was all about purity of that transcendent union, so it refused to go back to dealing with what seemed like regression. It seemed caught in a kind of catch 22. I moved on from it when the contradictions in theory and behavior, of myself and the group leadership in particular, were too disassociated to be taken in honestly as being Holy or Sacred.  We cannot ignore realities.

I believe the more mystical sects of many religions are at this place, where they struggle with what one at times finds too much to handle, then surrender back, when they (individuals) have their senses of perception returned, to the immersion into a more transcendental state of union with the Divine. Poetry and song, or deep meditation-prayer, and or some trance like dance and rhythms sometimes signify these acknowledgements.

Groups will attempt to “brand” that process, or personal cosmic union (your sense of cosmological cohesion) to their own groups sole identity. That will remain a kind of tribal impediment to humankind sharing seamlessly with a common perception of being at one with Creation, and what borders of consciousness are real or invented.

Once we are reduced to tribalism, or us against them consciousness, our options and identity with life is apparently severely compromised. Yet in the world today, political and religious leaders are at times on the side of this self imposed divisive ignorance. They will rationalize why their listeners too, should follow their lead.

What are your limits?

POLITICAL DECEPTION AND SOCIETAL CONTROL

The desperate offenses are in operation.

It seems ever more apparent that Hillary Clinton and John McCain are the two candidates of status quo permanency. Sure, oligarchies prefer the easily manipulated ones to the right, it is their bread and butter, but the moderate types of leaders are bought off fairly easily themselves.

It is astounding to compare the intellectual and emotional maturity of most liberals over conservatives.  (Did you watch the debates? Fear and taxes, vs intelligent strategies to work on our problems, exceptions noted.) It is not a condition of elitist intellectual left wing brain washing, that the more education one has, the more liberal one tends to be. It is more likely the philosophical and cosmological perspective that human beings are often more nuanced and complicated than simple jingoistic or buzz word slogans, and life is made up of all of us like it or not.

An incredible attempt has been executed to bias open-mindedness and attention to all details of life as liberal bias, and conservo-corporate market theocracy as the simple truth that has been denied to you.  Simple circular reasoning now makes it easy to have irrefutable positions on complex issues, because critical thought and questioning is not allowed inwards!

Checking oneself before throwing the first stone, or the Golden Rule, requires introspection and reality checking, things the current trend in conservatism seems to despise on the local and world scene. Tax and spend, pro-life, family values, a manufactured culture wars loaded with a “good” based arsenal, acts as a simple cult like circular reasoning cut off assumptions, a firewall to much more profound or in depth attempts at understanding. This results in a problematic dysfunctional state of affairs continuing its deceptive service to provide control issues by force to society, and blind many to wedge issue salt thrown into the eyes of reason.

What is there to understand when it is us against them?

Both parties representatives of economic domination, and more practical affluent elites, have to settle for what they are left with this campaign season. Barack Obama has his relative unknowns, but it now seems he is the most centered candidate on changing the relationships in the nation for the better and not the same old sinking American ship dream=crumbling infrastructures, outsourcing of jobs, downsizing of ambitions to servitude positions, money going to war mongering profiteers with its least return on the dollar, not to mention, magnification of outer hostility towards the US.

Anything Obama now says that can seem to suggest a view of us and them from his perspective, is cut up and diced until it has the sour flavor societies elites hope it will leave in public perception. We are back to the usual strategies of fears and unknowns being the guides to decision making, no mater how truthful or backed up by any facts the perceptions are. Ad hominem suggestions running round the right wing echo chamber, take on the illusory appearance of conventional or consensus wisdom.

RELATIVE DEMOCRACY UNDER FIRE

Normally the right of center interest control enough of the information sources to place conservatism as the “sensible” way out of your fears of their self perpetuating dysfunctions. Two counter trends have impacted that perception; the contempt for the common woman-man endemic to the top designers of the right has been exposed somewhat. Despite attempts to blur or bury the fact that the poor and residual middle class actually take care of and make most of the country, and defend it. Hiding returning caskets, and keeping most Americans actual economic worries off the media radar most of the time, still the perception of one party more for the rich and privileged than the other has come through.

Overt attempts to bury democracy by denying voters abilities to vote and eliminating ballot trails, allowing for a fake democracy to seem real, remains not addressed by main media sources, again, most of the time. The Internet has cracked that barrier a bit, so it will have to be reigned in sooner or late by oligarchical power sources. Best current vehicles expected to crash the WWW. barrier will be sex exploitation from some angle, or terror threats as excuse to stifle dissenting opinions or personalities.

Will the city of freedoms ring become its undoing?

If what is so far alleged as a liberal Main Stream Media becomes a truth, the stranglehold around freedom will continue to stifle the bells call to responsibility and self determination. Instead, true, everyone does better under Democrats; from rich to poor, but the machinery of societal hierarchical permanence continues unabated under their reign. The poor being the expendable and downcast sacrificial lambs over any of the wealthiest concerns.

This happens while an echo chamber has been constructed in the nation media to perceive the poor as being deserving of their conditions from some called religious leaders, to those who breed contempt for the poor as a Darwinian like imperative. Out of sight and of mind is the reality that, under the socialism for the rich system we now have, the poor are needed to do the dirty work and receive blame for the nations ills they are placed so near to.

With certain candidates of profound change for the betterment of our nation gone, it seems Barack Obama is perhaps not the best hope, but likely the last. He is also going to be the recipient of overwhelming deceptive tactics, and the legions of hired sycophants who do well off the service and toil of hard working Americans, military and civilian alike. There are always the Benedict Arnold’s who will position themselves as the voices of sanity, reason, but hidden antidemocratic agenda’s, that is the nature of the infection democracy has. Once the individuals identity interest are pivoted to fear, any ideology of release or escape to “our” tribes ways seems appealing.

Politics, as convoluted as they are, remain attempts to define individual identities by appealing to apparent need and desires. When the desires are made to be as certain as black or white by fear, us and them, the hope is that you or I will have an easy decision to make. But one needs to think twice about alleged clarity’s of definition.

Where will us against them actually lead me? What is the greater good and greater interest? How can my interest at home actually be cut off from that of the entire planets? Can I then contain compromise, ambiguity, empathy, compassion, non-final answers, as stepping stones toward that greater good?

DEMOCRACY NEEDS A VACCINATION, NOT A VACATION

If democracy and its implied collective individual leadership of nations is to survive, it must defeat the disease it has acquired by the same power interest that always attempt to act as gods above the common people who vote, or slave. We need to perceive their abilities to manipulate society and counteract them with assertions of the rights of all individuals to have a say on all aspects of life. This implies a mandate to fair and transparent elections. It implies a mandate to provide the individual with all sides of issues and questions of state. It mandates a clarity to freedom and responsibility, now inhibited by the elites who control access to the above assertions.

Democracy is the antithesis of the emergent transnational corporate hegemony. Darwinian social predations is not served by populations informed and held accountable to the worlds state of affairs. In this deceptive climate change, who will it be that continues to act as the caged monkeys to the master race?

WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE WILL BE CONFLICT?

Personal and world events all hinge on intentions. What is motivating me and where is that motivation coming from?

There seems to be a balance to being; meaning, life as we know it integrates within its own manifestation. The elements follow their rules, molecules combine those, then follow new rules born of integration it seems. Water molecules under the same conditions, do not freeze today at 32 degrees and tomorrow at 43 degrees.

All life and being is under The Law, like it or not. But just as elements and molecules differ, there may be an exponential like increase in varieties of being, and kinds of laws that come into being. We could say God, the Universe, the Cosmos, whatever one sees everything as belonging to, is under the auspices of Its One Law.

LEAVING THE LAND OF ABSTRACTIONS

If you do not agree with me on my Universal premise, the only explaining left is a solipsistic plunge into self focuses fantasy. It, however, no matter how filled with illusion, confusion and misrepresentation; it still is governed by the One Law. Sorry. There is no escaping whatever reality is, no matter how delusional I may be.

This certainty flows from the Grand notion of Unification, glanced at above. I, or groups, can try to put our “brand” on this Grandness, even discern its true workings locally and cosmically to a certain degree, but it is an error to think only my way of seeing the Big Union, is the correct one. Why? No matter how many books are passed around, or WEB searches made, I can never put it all into my consciousness mentally. Heart, Spirit, Awe, Love and other nearly undefinable senses of connection to Life, bring us our closest reach into the Infinite and Eternal.

THE WAR ON THE SURFACE

Here is the obvious problem then. I am born into a subjective setting. I learn subjective concepts and paradigms as to what reality is. I am born into subjective family dynamics, giving me my own stamp of the One Law exponentially diversified out, then converged into my unique circumstance. I am literally now, programmed to seem to not agree with you, or if not you, surely many others. We fight in families when what we call “wills” compete for reality manifestation. We may feel abandoned or betrayed when our feelings or our thoughts seem to take second, or last place.

Why is that? We are in truth entitled to our self and its experiential and other adjustments. When our will does not succeed, we sense a certain kind of denial to truth. And we are right! Even tough our feelings and beliefs may in fact be wrong. Here is the groundwork to conflict and war rationalizations.

GOLDEN RULE or CATEGORICAL IMPERATIVE

This seeming contradiction described above can be seen through by the self, if we seek what is subjectively from my own vantage point, a higher truth. For differing reasons at different times, we may or may not rise to this higher moral directive to understand and grow more full into comprehension of a fuller authentic being.

I have so far described a method by which conflict arises seemingly legitimately to the self, and yet, the problematic nature of being only self absorbed places me into a perpetual conflict mode. I just imagined an allegory of this being a drop of watter, alone in its little sphere, insisting it is not at all the same as the lake. It seems not in the lake. No birds land onto it, nor fish swim below inside it. Not a river flows into it, how is it then at all like the lake from its point of view? Maybe not like it at all! But with higher understanding, we may come to comprehend and perceive a vast similarity, beyond the individuals edge. Life itself, including me, exist in just such a commonality. This is irrefutable.

IDENTITY AND ILLUSION MEET THE LENS

For many a reason related to my propositions, I can side conservative or liberal, as generalized abstractions, over the same situations as a person. I can feel cut off and defensive, blame, ridicule, insult and assault those claiming differently. I am wanting to preserve what I value in life, and feel completely righteous about it. I can demean those unlike me, and try to have my way imposed on others for my own sense of security.

I can feel open and giving, a part of everything, seeing contradictions of motivations as mistaken identities of perceptions of surface separation, and be equally righteous about it. I can hear those seemingly closed off, insult me, try to provoke me, even blame me as the source of problems by not being seemingly closed off to an abstraction. I hear this emotionalized reason stimulated by fear and insecurity, and still understand where they are coming from, allowing them space to grow instead of trying to erase their difference by force. Force often reproduces what it is trying to erradicate by an opposite reaction basesd in self centered identity.

Come religion and politics, plus interpersonal dynamics, and even my own inclinations, I can chose to accept more of the one or more of the other. I ask which one is more near to Greater Truth? Which one is partnered so often with fear and insecurity? Which is so often more about lecturing to conformity, and which is more likely to say lets talk this out and try to understand the new Higher Truth given by God, Life or whatever you call the Grand Being? What does that say of my own cosmology, or what I think are the reasons I live and do what I do, while others do something different?

NOW IS FREEDOMS ONLY STAND

Only I can look into me and assess where I really am and what untested abstractions I grab as life preservers, INSTEAD of facing the situation full on. Only I can see where I have been mistaken, in that sense that right now I can free my ignorance by understanding something more than I have been. Radical honesty, forgiveness, heart opening to the Whole; these are always available right now to bring me into a new awareness of self, and a greater connection felt, to the Whole.

VIOLENCE AND SELF CONTROL

Being involved with family violence control puts me in an odd situation.

I have avoided physical fighting my whole life. Childhood became the most significant influence on this. My father had told me, and I took it as holy law, that you as a guy, do not strike women. I cannot say that my older sisters and I did not have shoving matches, but for me that would have been self defense. Our family dynamics was heavy on the mental sparing which can seem actually more devastating.

The physical violence in our house was later done, after my mothers death, by a step mother-guardian. She would not hesitate to hit, throw objects and threaten with knives. She sent my father to the hospital with a big gash across his forehead. I slept with the largest kitchen knife under my pillow as a self defense plan for a knife attack while I was asleep. She had hit me in the face while I was asleep, then locked me out in the snow in my pajamas. My father committed suicide not long after that.

Earlier I had incidences when someone seemed to be threatening my life as a freshman high school. I was literally about 100 lbs. and someone morbidly obese around 500 lbs, held me under water to near drowning during pool time in a crowded pool. He had done this more than once. It became so serious to me (swallowing-inhaling watter) that I thought I would have to take matters into my own hands. One more time, and I was going to put him in a headlock with my legs around his neck and hold him under until it meant something. I was a totally inhibited kid and did not trust authority to do anything but blame the victim. So I had to weigh in my mind, possibly causing someones death and being called and treated as a murderer.

As it turned out, he never did that again. But I was sure it would have been me to blame and I would have felt I had no options in my own self defense. No one seemed to notice him doing this during the pool commotion, so I believed no one would accept my story. It just never came through to experience. In physical confrontations during boyhood, I found I had to keep the potential for rage out of me, especially since I had no doubt that I would take down someone twice my size. It took someone quite a bit larger and older to overcome me. I was afraid of my rage and how if unleashed it would seem out of my control.

(As evidence that I am not just delusional about this strength proclamation. When it rained a lot during physical education, outdoor activities were called off and we were put into the gym, we freshmen and the sophomores, to have a thing called “bombardment”. This is where there are two sides chosen, a line across the middle of the gym, where the two sides throw rubber balls a little smaller than a soccer ball at each other. Out of about 150 students divided in two, little me was one of the last picked, last or second to last.

Well the first game I discovered that being in the lower 10% in size had me a bit afraid, so I hung back as many did. All it took was the guy next to you ducking and a ball out of nowhere taking you out, while leaving a big red mark somewhere. I decided to risk all and take it to the line next game.

You could see most of what was being thrown up front. I found out I could catch any-ones ball thrown at me, but no-one could hold onto mine. I was also very accurate. I won that game. The last guy standing. I was picked second of all players next game. The team first picking, picked his seeming best friend first, so I was first on the other team picked. The next game was the last. It oddly ended up being me the last standing on my team, and a very out of shape guy hiding and dodging in the corner on the other side when the period ran out. I could no longer throw fast enough to eliminate time for him to move. That is how little old me was as a skinny five feet two.)

TRUTH VS ADVICE

What I just said I cannot say to someone involved in family violence. As far as physical violence goes, I do not hit women. I have told ones who gave me any actual physical provocation that, “If you do that again, we are over!” I do not tolerate fighting, especially in the home relationships. I try to avoid physical confrontations with anyone. Now that I am a “senior citizen” I find you are not seen as a threat overall, or there is a kind of automatic respect. Most of that sense of being on guard is much diminished now. I take peace as my way and it path is most often open.

I have found that emotional abuse has prove a bit more difficult to not take part in, compared to a sense of law that one just never does such a thing. I grew up that way, making fun of someones mistake or being ridiculed. It is then a model of behavior I have had to contain and reverse. To do that requires a will and an understanding of the Golden Rule or Categorical Imperative. I need to establish the sense that not only does “what goes around comes around.”, but it is already damaging my life. Abusing others in any way is profoundly self abuse.

I need to see (learn to recognize) when I am treating another like I would not wish to be treated, and immediately review what my self respect or control problem really is. We are often given the information from another that we are on some kind of attack and they becoming defensive, or initiating their own retaliations.

Still, when expressing guidance to someone, it will often fall flat if it is preached or describes as something I am so above, and can’t understand how someone could do such a thing. That fits as a key with very few dysfunctional programs. I have to speak out of and through my own life, the love in your heart has to be in it, to be a gift expected to have a chance at being received.

PROGRESSIVE OR REACTIONARY

In some ways I have described political tactics and ways of manipulation. All manipulation is in some way an abuse of the truth. Its vibrational disturbance will not go unnoticed, except perhaps, by like minded dysfunction. The same situations and rationalizations that come to effect home life are used in the greater life of our world. Even if everyone does it, doesn’t make it right.

We will find manipulative arguments covered if various guises meant to hide their intention, and instead, be represented as your own interest. Fear and insecurity are great hiding places for manipulative interest. Optimistic vision can also be used as a trick to catch someones interest, then later prove to have been a ruse. We need to be both critically minded on the one hand, and have our heart held out open in the other. True adults can do this.

The upcoming election seems to be being based on fear and insecurity vs. hope and optimism, both of these being held as paramount in differing ways by the candidates. I am not saying that we are not justified in having these inclinations. What I am encouraging is the “true believers” and the doubtful to have their wits about them. As citizens and voters, it is up to us to determine the fact from fiction, the hidden agendas from the promises of safety and security. For power will seek to inject its corruptions into all areas of life if let be.

We each are freedom, love, and truths best and last hopes. Better to stand with understanding under their tall light, than the ignorance that festers in the shadows of misunderstanding.

Spinning up worried elites propaganda

pundits guided a groomed church choir

common folk packed into position

received their new commands

to march in loyalties blindfold

Logic’s air had become vacated

its home left in morbid curiosities

dreams now mixed in with detritus

insulation and roofing shingles lost

were nailed over hearts left hard

now pierced by rusted anger

What had been always true

of truth and of loves way

looked for evidence

any kind of history

even one memory

of actuality

BLACK HOLES AND PARALLEL UNIVERSES; UH, SO.

AVOID GAZING AT IF INEBRIATED

AVOIDING INFINITY SICKNESS

BLACK HOLES, I recommend one a day, unless otherwise prescribed by ones doctor. Parallel universes, however many of them there many be, with their own physics and such, I suggest only having on New Years Eve. (Apply directly on the forehead.)

[I supposedly have what it takes to be a physicist or mathematician, according to an aptitude test. May be why I pay attention to these things.]

Well, I like speculations of many sorts, just check out this blog site, but there is a point of diminishing returns. I occasionally see the self appointed eager spokespersons of astrophysics and nuclear or particle physics, all excited about what mathematical theory may or may not allow. I could see getting all drawn up in the competition to prove or disprove (Ha!) a theory by some allegedly contradictory theories new found “proof”. “I was more right all along! Thank you, I’m more perceptive in the ways of the universe. It’s a gift. What can I say? Thank you very much. It was nothing.”

INFINITY SICKNESS

While the Cosmos may be more grand than we even have proof of. I am not encouraged to think incomprehensible physics exist, virtually in the same space you might, as incomprehensible as you may be. That does not help me focus well on my own life. Exciting to stimulate kids going into math and science, maybe. This is not too unlike saying every one of your dreams are actually a reality somewhere.  Could be who knows?  But heaven help many of the scenarios I have visited.

I personally am biased against a freaky universe that wants to keep changing landmarks or street signs just so I cannot find my way home. And what about when you need to call on your cell phone and its out of range or the battery is dead? Those dream theories being real are bad enough, it does not excite me to think that somewhere I will never be, quarks cannot stay in their place, or there are no sensible elements, or gravity, is that always going to be there? Are you sure? Got water? Something going to stand in for its place? Are there suns? Seems hardly a point going there, so why bother with getting excited about infinite potential parallel universes? Except to pretend to know something questionable because you are the expert.

Instead of inspiring scifi fantasies masquerading as actualities through imagination and mathematical projections, as someones dreams come true, maybe. Makes me a little sea sick to entertain the unfathomable–infinity sickness.

IMMUNITY RESPONSE TO INFINITY SICKNESS

So, I’m speaking for myself, but you might happen to agree with me; do you really want to think of being somewhere where you bread the butter, or put a can into your coffee? Me, not so much. When the next pseudo-Carl Sagan tries to get you all excited by manically talking about parallel universes and unknown laws of physics, do like that blond actress on (Is it MAD TV?) used to do.

The cure is to put your palms over your ears, (or a finger in each one) and chant, NAH, NAH, NAH; NAH, NAH, NAH, or some similar idiotic sound. It may very well preserve your sanity.

DEATH TO DEATH?

I read some tags again. I must say that many of us out here hovering in cyberspace do have a lot of interesting points to make.

One guy (I assume) had quite the post on tribalism, evolution, social theory, top predator as self predator-hard wired. He began to explain how, we more advanced types need to impose anti tribalism notions back onto Africa to save them from themselves, or from us, I got lost in the bad is good and good not so much connections.

Circles began to form around the rationalizations. I wondered why, if as this guy said; the “dark side” is not as bad as we seem to think, it might have worked for us so lets try it on them again. There is an institutional bias if one sees history as the permanent overlord of human motivation. How can we be sure of any derivations from fateful out-workings as being “good” manipulations?

Tolerance was stated as a higher place of mind, which I would agree with. But take the mind-frame out of human supposedly higher consciousness development, and where are we that is actually that much better? Is not that Doomsday Clock still at 11 something near midnight, thanks to all our supposedly enlightened associations ? African tribes have not particularly been the cause of this Doomsday Clock have they? (Excluding the realization that we are all essentially of African stock.) What about our favorite church, companies and governments trying to have it all their own way in the world?

From who and how is enlightenment going to be imposed on anyone? Is not Iraq deconstructing towards tribal states? How much imposition of the “better” way really works? How often do we repeat these attempts before the hands on the clock strike twelve?

THE MIND RUNNING OFF INTO THE JUNGLE

If the argument is human enlightenment or death of the species, seems quite clear we need enlightenment. I agree that much of what is bad in human nature is there for survival reasons. I do not believe we need to impose another boundary on someone other, from on high, to achieve understanding. Indeed, that now seems a most mechanical, social engineering approach, by those who consider themselves, for any reason, superior.

If imposing institutional order is the only true way of ending human attempts at self annihilation, there seems to remain a problematic reactionary impulse to external human mandates on behavior, regardless of holier motivations. Whether left or right or other orthodoxy, most nations seem to divide in half over the see-saw of which ideas way to go. It amazes me how the two halves then blame the other for problems, while all they have is solutions. Until that pendulum swings and we go back again to the other side. Most religions deconstruct in these ways to many sects (who is the most pure or interpreting correctly abstractions). When will there be this great understanding, given by institutional prescription? Or is there something intrinsically wrong in, effectively external institutional, attempts to impose order for the greater good, despite the individuals own understandings of it?

In all the abstractions of historical perspective unknowingly wrapped in its own views bias, do we ever actually get beyond the individuals responsibility to recognize the Universe her or himself? Is not the real truth apparent in It? To what extent have human consensus realities and all their precepts interfered with the individuals abilities to know self and come to know higher orders of yes and no regarding motivations and results in space-time of social interactions and other environments? What stops humans from a greater awareness of place and interconnectedness beyond eventual reactionary tribal identities?

GOOD IN WHICH WAY FORWARD?

There seems to be a more fundamental human problem; the removal of inherent authority of the individual to know common good as self good. And how to stand up for the personal work to achieve higher understanding based on a selfish self-centerness that extends to the Whole Universe Itself. An awareness despite the attempts by others to insist ignorance rules self, society and nation-state, and so institutions must impose control. How much more advanced socially are we in the western world, when paranoia of others is so easily put in control? What is left out of the I know better than you equations, regarding individual responsibilities, which actually is the bedrock of humankind?

Why is Love of and for all things, or for anything as far as that goes, never mentioned? How is that phenomenon that makes life most worthwhile, left off of histories or scientific r
