This imposed limitation of perception creates a way into falsity without even knowing it, owning it, nor rectifying the self deception. Ignorance itself, becomes a major political and cultural commodity.

First I must say this, and I hope you will receive this post as what it really is; an honest statement of the facts of personal psychosocial dynamics–We are each in some ways and at certain times both conservative and liberal in our thoughts and actions of and in the world. In spiritual, political and social consciousness, if I do not know this about the subjective self’s interest in situational awareness, I do not know much.

The Closed Self vs The Open Self

In conservatism, belief trumps full facts in context, yet the conservative will usually avoid the nature of responsibility and accountability to their paradigms mind-frames, while likely suggesting others need to be held accountable for their own belief structures.

An idea of truth trumps the real thing, abstraction held above self application, yet that idea is called the “Real Truth” by many a self professed conservative, leaving the real of the real social and physical environments thing to seem an untruth. Behind this cognitive contraption often mandating a diversion to cognitive dissonance avoidance facades, ways of comprehending reality can be reversed through the conservatives perceptual lens. This convolution of reality makes the conservative mind, heart and soul, one where denial and obfuscation are invisibly incorporated into their protected from questioning perceptual bias, this going on to infect the mind, heart and spirit.

A retreat into a “sacritized” self narrative does seem to have an evolutionary advantage at times for obvious subjective reason–If I have the land then I can use it and others cannot; or the food; or the… a way to get or keep what I have vs dealing with all of the demands of honoring contravening interest of others. Others then require a negative narrative cognitively from the conservative point of view.  Many self interest like these are pandered to by what is known often as “The Right Wing” and its vast economic and social directions hold on cultural narration via established corporate and power interest.

This conservative narration of superior view and entitlement then requires the appearance reality, and consensus reality, that rightness is on the conservatives side, leading to the assemblage of good abstraction for them and bad for others. This is  usually frame-based upon their views tagged moral, character and other blame and shame types of negative outcasting of others.  The classical “other” is then made the subject of both a fear based animalistic protectionism, and a targeting of hostility toward these others. Again this provides platforms for the continuous scripting of otherness on Right Wing TV, Talk, Internet and other medias, helping to keep the cement hard onto the desired targets, keeping tight delusions and perceptual avoidance necessities.

With Stealthy Face and Well Sugared Tongue

Confirmation bias to narrative is presented as alleged truth in most any argument, including what I am doing here. This is the creation of an Appearance Reality seeking to make the grade to social Consensus Reality, but to the conservative, seen as truth itself.

Emotion is a common buttress to convincing one of “true meaning”, powering up rationalization with its find what it needs logical scenarios.

Here this becomes appearance realities visible source of correctness, supplanting the rigors of full objective reasoning, with attitude, likely harboring inherently misanthropic viewpoints towards others. The conservative generally is not bound to honest investigation toward full context pattern recognition, but instead sees such attempts at objectivity as intrinsically hostile, misinformed, and likely misleading, leading the conservative to cherry pick both facts and context, such as when cold weather somewhere, or a record snowfall is “proof” of a global warming hoax.

We see that the corporate driven perception of reality selects out ideas and even data that support its philosophy automatically, on automatic pilot to continue their flight into the future, unfortunately, as with cancerous tissue and direction, without concern for the implications of its thought or its action of self preservation leading to possible annihilation.  These days there are many commercials from suspect corporations, suspect for they seem to perceive a need toi define their interest as solely ones own, they go on to demonstrate how worker and family friendly they are.  The intent quite likely to divert our attention from the full consequence of their action, instead showing us how much they are for folks like us, our fellow humans.  You like having your job, don’t you?

Conservatism’s Everyday Shell Games With Smoke And Mirrors Too!

These approaches to appearance reality perception count upon our ignorance; that I not know the full truth, but instead focus upon a subjective narrative surrounded with goodness and what seems right.  Simple and effective in corralling cognition behind an enclosure of idea that supports something perhaps intrinsically fatal to civilization, yet now protected from questioning by a kind of  belief appearing to be full truth.

Mind control attempts to be not only unseen, but inoculating the subject to be suspicious of the actual truth, thinking it is skewed and attempting to manipulate perception away from a consensus paradigm presented to be seen as necessary to life itself.  The “wedge issue” and “culture war” realms are filled with intent to cleave society from perceptions of wholeness and congruity, presenting the idea that what is problematic in life is being caused by groups of others extrinsic to what is good and wholesome.  For instance, I could be called a liberal being part of the problem for my ideas here.

Now, as evident on many conservative propaganda platforms, evidence of global warming is not scientifically debunked, (that manipulative scandal aside) but ridiculed as being outside the conservatives confirmation bias. The proposal is then seen as automatically wrong and suspect to derision, along with shame and blame strategies to divert attention from full reasoning.  This is all about mind control being presented as the obvious truth of appearance and consensus realities, while full factual contextual rendering is drawn out as suspect for its requirements for more thinking and appreciations of Creation.

Conservative media outlets supply this pro-corporation exploitation of the world as our paradigm’s view, as the honorable one, the truthful one, the one that is the only good one.  Messengers of the vast preponderance of data, such as with climate change tied to human chemical alterations of the atmosphere, are then cast into doubt with various thought-terminating clichés standing guard as validation of alleged scientific inaccuracy and theoretical bias.  To listen to conservative media outlets is to receive a near continuous narration stream of logical trickery filled with the smoke and mirrors of rationalizations pretending to be forthright reason.

These “facts” are demonstrated daily to many millions of Americans with argumentative tricks of the trade; where reality is traded for confirmation biased propaganda, to those needing it; The “Real Truth”.  Now we can “see” the global warming hoax for what it is;  Or so it is believed was proven to be the case.  This is how emotionalized data can become something other than honest truth, while technically, perhaps, being factual data in the abstract, and so, true.  An example may be in Antarctica, where, while the penguins there are facing the increasing stress on ice retreating, but in the center of Antarctica, snow may be falling more often than it was before, “proving” to some perhaps, that all is well, even exceptionally so, for new ice must obviously be being created at an increasing rate. Context controlled to fit bias, then facts or data selectively used to debunk scientific theories–by appearance reality manipulation of perception of reality.

‘I suppose those warm-mongers will call this freezing weather as part of global warming!  What a joke!!!‘ Such “common sense” connection is oblivious to a possible phenomenon known as the warm arctic/cold continent paradox.  Yes, a possible aspect of climate change including global warming, where the warming polar air allows the polar jet stream to uncoil further than “normal”, sending cold air plunging southward, all while the arctic is experiencing record warmth.  Much easier to be simple, obvious, and certain, than take in nuance, paradox and ambiguity endemic to Life.

Mental Meltdown

In much conservative media propaganda, the melting of the polar regions and migrations of plants and animals to the north in the Northern hemisphere are ignored. The current human induced mass extinction event is ignored. The vast predominance of record highs over those of cold over decades is ignored for momentary confirmation biased opportunistic rationalization debunking prospered as good natured honest “proof”.

This dishonest trick on the self, of logical myopia, serves the perceptual bias the conservative must confirm to keep cognitive dissonance at bay or tagged onto others. This is a hostile world view, or cosmological and spiritually broken cognition that leads to a disharmonious view towards existence, producing classic us against them phobia’s and psychosis along with the projection of these “truths” onto perceived oppositional characters. Then, as it is in existentialism’s morass of pick and chose for oneself meaning; mentioning conservative us against them paradigms makes the one bearing this message a guilty party to conservatives fear based cosmological and spiritual perceptions of the universe at large beyond their tightly conformed tent.

A critical thought toward conservatism’s rationalization matrixes can well mean to them that you are against them, obviously, and so, one who is blatantly propagating us against them consciousness oneself.  This reverse reality technique allows one to not review the full impact of the concepts and tenets one possesses for a critical external view of others, usual across many boards.

Conservatism is often itself an assault on critical thinking ability, crippling the conservatives ability to see objectively, and thus perceiving the world as subjectively motivated. In the USA, conservatives rescript their perceptions of abstract ideological fortresses, such as The Bible and the US Constitution, as being their right to interpret and not others. This preserves the conservatives sence of abstract arrogance, while seeing others attempts at understanding those abstractions for themselves as being intrinsically misguided or influence by some evil nature.  For conservatives truth is a one-way street–theirs, and this cripples their ability to be truthful and free, let alone honestly responsible to the ramifications of their actions.

Do As I Say; Conservative Conformity Matrix

All conservatives harbor misanthropic tendencies towards those who do not see the world as they do.  This presents a perpetual problematic relationship towards Freedom, Democracy and other Liberal institutions that must include all.  The conservative is motivated to act against these others in the world and in society. Within the conservatives broken, or dysfunctional perception, others are conceived as being the same, these others becoming the targets for conservative blame, shame, and ostracism campaigns designed to deny others of their right to be as they are.

The basic fundamental of the conservative mindset is; ideology (belief) before fact or evidence.  It is something we all do, bias towards our own interest when the interest of another seems to contradict our own.  Seems.  This means I believe another’s interest is in contradiction with mine or in competition with it. In the basic bottom line math of survival—like other animals–it seems in my interest to put me first.  It takes something other; a higher interest, to see past a basic Darwinian mindset into one with a broad minded overview.

I imagine many on the sides of left and right, as well as the middle, think they are one way but not really the other.  As we dichotomize our perception, we side to bias–Confirmation Bias, and quite likely emotinalize the weight of our believed in correctness compared to the others.

Conservatism particularly, requires logic and interpretive defectiveness and defensiveness to seem correct.  In this sense it is opportunism and rationalization dependent.  Its interest in reason is not toward an investigation toward objective truthfulness, but instead, one which reaffirms its borders and imposed limitations upon perception and cognitive apprehension.  This defective reasoning is then often called “The Truth”, case closed.  Conservatism, with its mandate to not include others and evidence fairly nor completely, must then impose upon itself a nonsensical narrative; one making the conservative seem to be more entitled to the world than those who do not share the narrative.

The Narrative Rules; Those Outside It Loose

Those who support a world view favoring objectivity and the use of full context are left with mouths and minds left agape as today’s propaganda conservatives define reality with their myopic rational constructs.  Here in Arizona this perceptual bias towards established wealth and power, and a subservient population, is in classic conservative head lock. The interest of others is only conditioned to the money subservient narrative towards what hearts, minds and souls deserve of this world, but those seeking to correct the myopic deformity in perceiving human nature are viewed as on the side of social, economic and spiritual ill, or evil.  In this, ignorance parading as good old common sense is itself the source of evil–ignorance in action over oneself and others.

Beneath the wedge issue emotional tents set up for unsuspecting citizens, with many prompted weekly at church, on radio and TV to keep under the wedge issue tents toxic gas, the narrative, the storylines of conservatism, the us versus them mindframes are inhaled deeply with invisible penetration. Conservatism is in this way the Dry-Rot Of Civilization; that which eventually brings the individual and humanity down by excluding compassion, empathy, understanding and honesty.

In The Image Of Man: Conservatism Attempts to Make Conformity Universal

The story always has their ideological prism focused squarely onto the individuals very identity and worth as a human being.  Here, a particular definition of God, patriotism and other things abstracted as pure to their narrative; such as morals, true values, Truth and goodness, these are identified as intrinsically their own, the in-groups providence.  Others are always needed to be identified as being deceived or against their abstract definitions, the lexicon becomes as a kind of guarantee to the idea.

To this mindset, saying a thing such as you are intolerant of intolerance can mean you are just as intolerant as any other bigot. The mind-traps for the conservative mind, such as this example of an existential derived false equivalency, is just one of a myriad of logical tricks employed by conservative propagandists to “prove” their own nobility of character.  The radio and cable TV hums with these deformations of idea day in and day out, charging the batteries of those suffering under societal stress to target their distress onto various politically charged targets.

As in other cults and cultures, imitation becomes a means for an individual to felt security, as if immersion it the appearance reality of the narrative can create the actual reality in the cosmological and spiritual sense as being full Truth to existence.  Those not like us are easily pegged as being against us. I have encountered many folks who express the current right wing talking points, pretending they are free thinkers as they repeat what they have just heard o,n the radio or TV; disparate theories pretending to be confirmed truths.

Now, once embedded into the confirmation bias, a list of others seeming contradiction, different viewpoints, different appearances and even styles of expression such as dress, music and such, becomes codified as alien and other to cherished abstractions.  To individual and societal manipulators, the armory of perception becomes propaganda’s voice of reason, but actually, self serving rationalization. The authority and integrity of those outside of conservatism’s mental and emotional strangleholds are discarded as so much garbage–unconcerned for where these end up, for they are discarded from legitimacy in the narrative.

Into The Electrified Tent

I attended a “mega church” one recent Christmas with family members, only to find this church to be a place, not really of worship, but of mind control set to a corporate agenda. The back of the church was filled with right wing pro affluent lifestyle books and pamphlets to file through as you left the church.  It was very much an atmosphere of affirmation of  kind of lifestyle with an organized intention to bias minds, hearts and spirits to an elite way to be in the world, a way with a political agenda as central to spiritual identity.

During service itself, we where cautioned that being Republican did not guarantee you a place in heaven.  I can’t imagine anyone actually thought that, or did they?  What kind of movement is based upon a spirituality wed to a material list or a political one?  From the giant screens projecting high-tech emotive imagery, to the modern music set to dramatics onstage, this service seemed to be most about keeping attention by entertainment and the engendering of the “correct” bias.  I had stumbled into what appears as the GOP driven spirituality merged with the modern worlds consumption and excess bias being framed as being a Godly thing.

But first the definition and its origin is in order; A look into what we believe and interpret the message of Christ to be would seem relevant to what meaning this Holy Day has to anyone reflection on a date named after Jesus Christ.  As well, to not instil ignorance as an arbiter of idea; the meaning of the winter solstice, with its circling back of the light from the hold of growing darkness.

Before A Name Is Cast

Much religious symbolism has prior cultural roots; the preexisting human belief systems heavily influenced the evolution of these new dates of event timing and story meaning. Before Christ birth there was also a preexisting story about the virgin birth along with other narrative lines from earlier groups. —

Some seem to be afraid of facing this and other truths that are intrinsic to a time, for consolidating their own exclusive consensus reality is the job always at hand, with a story held above factual inquiry toward Truth within a meaning.  Avoidance of real facts and their actual contextual framework usually goes on to pollute and dilute perception of the self and of others, along with ideas conceptualized as realities.

Many, many beliefs and inclinations are from our self history. Merely repeating what one is programmed with in childhood, or when what one is seeking is to gain the approval of others via confirmation bonding ritual, does not make an honestly lived faith, only an imitative one seeking the “right stuff” verification from others.  What most any orthodoxy can be sure of is an inhibition, or other taboo sentence imposed upon objective inquiry into Free Standing Truth .

They must instead declare the truth to be what they suggest if appears to them to be–one they are comfortable with and that you must accept to be a correct person.  This is unexamined cultural programing.

A Word Or Phrase Is Not Necessarily Knowing

When objective (God given) reality is made subordinate to individual and group dynamics, truth may well be tossed out with the Child Jesus. One thing God is not afraid of is; truth seeking above hearsay, above ‘Just believe this, everyone else who is good does.  God wants you too!  Many of the greatest minds have concurred, so whatever questions you have are just not valid.  Believe me! I had your same qurstions ntil I accepted (blank)’.

Nope.  Not good enough, for it is surrendering your own connection to your spiritual core for ideas chained to others intentions, intentions that cannot be honestly taken as pure with a straight mind no matter how good. These here included.

The author above calls this new breed of Christianity; pseudo Christianity, for its marked divergence from the “real meaning” of Christ. What is that meaning? An answer is ever-born.  Love and Peace is done, is here.  It is the refusal to see it past the circumstantial and situational awareness of the problems defined in life as being held paramount instead of the answer.  The answer is.  Unconditional Love is.  It is you and I who place the conditions upon knowing it.  It is you and I who can remove them to know IT.

The avoidance of Christ message, morphed in part by the redacting of the Bible (revealing “Sacred Text” regarding Christ life) taken on some 1,000 years ago and on other occasions–like while preaching or proselytizing.  Way back then, the more personalized Christ of ones own consciousness was mostly exorcised from scripture, sifting out to one seemingly more fitting with control by establish power structures of church and state; these need guilt and blame to enforce their orders paradigm.  Even so, the real meaning of the mission of Jesus Christ still came through in powerful bits and pieces of the narrative.  These may appear any day of the year in us, any moment, but perhaps not more honored as in Christmas time, where to give and to receive is a right of all as each will wish.

Most of us can detect this nature of Christ beyond the appearance reality narrative being engendered by reactive thinking; thinking that says you do not deserve to receive because–fill in the blank.  Let’s say, because you cannot afford an opperation or a transplant.  Money is then the God of Life and of Death, a blatant betrayal of Christ and of Life’s message.  In sort term; anti Christ Message.

The “higher” notion of Christ is one of understanding and self review, and not one of blame, shame, robotic acceptance, nor accusation and the fear of punishment as a means for behavior control.  These reactive exclusionary ostracism models create a perception that things are done or not done based upon Pavlovian pain and avoidance control mechanisms–might makes right, money makes right, which is not an individuals spiritual achievement or merit in comprehension of Love, but one of fear and of a kind of begging for peace of mind.

With Your Own Eye

We who see Jesus, not exactly as “your personal savior”, but a Savior of truthfulness above fiction or unexamined feeling, a truthfulness that understands our ability to miss the boat in comprehension, to make mistakes.  Christ comes through as The Peacemaker; a revealer of Gods deeper Nature– Universal and Wholesome to Creation.  This God does not require beings who are children of God to be always all wise, unerring and consciously complete with understanding.

This Divine Being does not punish us via the viewpoints of others and their thoughts of judgement imposition. Instead, as Christ did, we are encouraged to operate from our higher angels, and not the fallen ones.  Forgiveness of ourselves is a first root into Divinity; to comprehend a way forward into Creation in union with It, not a problem with It.

Deconstructing Christianity To Impose Business As Usual In The Temple

Now that mission of Christ is under siege in conservative Christianity, or pseudo Christianity.  These self proclaimed conservers of Christ, quite as with the self proclaimed conservers of The US Constitution, reverse the intention of common connection, of coherent union in a living process of Being, by substituting hierarchical kinds of subjection to God and Government as defined by our human opportunistic ideological myopathy. This narrow view-point happens to be endeared to the powerful, yet claiming to represent you, me, and the rest of The People under these mind-framed top serving institutional parameters.

For example; conservatives and so called libertarians seem to be for withering government in this US democracy. This creates a void and not opportunism expected Nirvana,  leaving a void to be filled by multinational corporations. Corporate “individuals” as entities are actively seeking to solidify their hold on the necessities and comforts of living.  We no longer are to have an”organic” connection to Life’s functioning, but one tied through and around businesses.

Now, “The Greater Good” is manipulated and contorted to serve corporate interest above those of individual and nation. The survival of both these basic necessities of humanity are becoming the survival of the business machinery and not the right of connectivity of all in Life.  Once these new Pharo-like elites rule the USA uninhibited, I hope you have work clothes for being ordered to work here, there, even to old age, or else.  We have sculpted an economic model that is its own Death Panel.

Here in Arizona, the death date for some citizens is being fixed by so called state survival interest; the connections of the wealthy being services while those of the not wealthy are being terminated. The state, under conservative stranglehold, is determining the expiration date for the poor and helpless by intentionally not caring for them as we could.  Exactly no “Right to Life” because one is poor.  Period.

Modern Activist Conservatism Represents Not Only The Dry-Rot Of The Soul, But Of Civilization

The activist conservative US Supreme Court has ruled that corporations can wield their  influence at will, and as they do, they “naturally” socialize their cost onto you, the consumers. Private Socialism is essentially what predatory corporate capitalism is.  Kinda like “Big Government”, only now you have no right to vote, and of course, no right to socialize your cost onto all.

The corporate “individual” can charge higher prices to pay for propaganda and attention by the state or the “corporatocracy”.  You and I cannot raise our pay, well not likely and not essentially whenever we will. It is we who pay for this corporation to connect its will to government, while no one is so entitled to pay for our influence except at our own cost.  They have us coming and going by the emerging paradigm, while having many a conservative and libertarian cheering for the ruse.  This is how ignorance in action works.

The Root of Evil!?  No Way!  The Way Of Abundance By Gods Grace Being Shown! I Need Money But Am Not Actually Loving It!  It’s Kinda A Pain After All!

The Bible is meant to teach lessons, particularly in the stories about Jesus Christ.  It is not much of a stretch for inclusion to view a concept such as “The Temple” to also mean the seat of consciousness, its Temple, where ones soul and Creation are erected into a place of worship and of holiness, or at least could or should be.  This is how a story becomes personal–how it manifest in my life in its meaning.

The anit-Christ  bottom line is as it is with health care in the US– Your money or your life. This is quite why the corporate model as allowed by law, is a perfect match with that of psychosis; an obsession with self gain and regard without regard for The Whole.  The connectedness of being in relationship with all of Creation; The Whole, all environments, the completeness of existence etc, is disregarded or ignored by emotional dysfunction in order to preserve a solipsistic enterprise for the individual called the corporation, or even called me getting ahead.

Yes, this is the love of money, above life itself. This love comes sanctioned with all kinds of conservative “moral” and “value” excuses that never sound like the teachings of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but instead, a pedagogy that uses others and the environment to “get ahead” while not accepting the socialized consequences of our actions.  Although most any rationalization will be put forward as the answer for denial, it remains ultimately all about the money. This is the primitive tribalism of us vs them, sanctioned by the righteous framing of some reason for superiority of consideration.

So much for a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Survival is now dependent upon an abstract reference unattached to spiritual truth or the individuals true merit, but wed to a fallen narrative of materialism first, money first, spirituality somewhere else if one can find it.  What do you mean by spirituality anyway.  that’s just your opinion after all.  Now we enter the existential morass of relativity; where one idea is equal (likely considered far superior) to another simply because it suits our preferences.  This relativity and self projection of intent is classical to modern media conservatism.

With this ideological onslaught of a truncated concept of individualism eroding the values and understandings of Universal connectivity, and with established orthodoxies aligned with wealth and the powerful, the meaning of His mission is stealthily becoming anti-Christ while still proclaiming the abstract ideals of Christ teachings for those approved of one way or another.  Most any notion can be morphed into its opposite by gradual reframing of the connected notions around it.  Why repetition is so important to spinning right wind(g) mind control.

The Great Lazy Seduction Of Conservatism And Orthodoxy

We have reason to wonder why media Christianity, or predatory conservative manipulated pseudo Christianity, is diverting attention from Christ teachings, then inserting Wedge Issue control features regarding emotional and spiritual attachment.  This movement of cause and relationship diverts us from the power of connection, of love, forgiveness and understanding as spiritual mandate, substituting them with perceived sources of irritation and stress. These tagged to issues are framed and cornered into emotional dead ends, where blame, distrust and anger are targeted onto “outside” targets.

{Just by mentioning this, to many a conservative; false equivalence via the use of abstraction, may become a vehicle called a Thought-terminating Cliché; an idea, a reason to consider no further, a question, an answer, or even a lonely idea. Example; “He does the same thing he judges us of!” Then; end of story.}

In the ideological, propaganda forwarded institutions operating throughout the modern society; compassion and empathy for all, as exemplified by the teachings of Christ, are snickered at and derided as false values. This perhaps exemplified recently by the pseudo news entertainer Glen Beck, as he warned about empathy and its insidious liberalism.  Ignorance is no obstacle to some conservatives, it is so often a mandate, for unfortunately, they tend to thrive on it as they claim to speak for wisdom and knowing.

Attitude is often all that matters; for the narrative control is actually all emotional.  Most probably associated with the many unresolved issues, unapproachable issues that many a conservative possesses to keep separation and alienation alive and well in consciousness.  Attitude speaks a thousand words of unexamined reason without wonder. This is where what is known as evil, or ignorance in action, may find its protective teflon like coating in pride and presumption.

Ignorance gets coated with good intention, and many a random reason, along with the consensus reality narrations against liberalism, that is a must unfortunately perpetuate in overthrowing Christ (Let’s say the Way of Understanding, Compassion and of Love and Peace) and creating a Christ formed into a false idol.  One where the aforementioned attributes are assigned to those who listen to me, or who seem to believe as I do.  Turn the other cheek and all is not relevant in the post fallen narrative.

DO NOT LOOK BEHIND THE CURTAIN! Or the TUBE!

Come the various crusades being launched by TV televangelist, preachers building fortunes at their followers expense, and wealth dependency ideology programmers who blame the troubles in ones life on these outside others (even government–ones own representation in Democracy). The audience is encouraged to both donate money and beg, and or pray properly for Gods help within their own emotional, economic, afterlife, or current health issues.

The conceived appearance reality edifice finds the trouble in outside otherness, targeted for its “evil” nature, while inwardly we hear claims that we chosen few will be who gets the love and select afterlife by an all loving yet terrifying Supreme Being.  So many of the ill and troubled watch a good appearance reality performance on TV, consciously sculpted to represent consensus reality–agreed upon knowingness, while viewers are encouraged to surrender their objective right to know God directly and in Person whenever they so allow Gods vision to become their own. No TV required.

The Way is already paved in perception if allowed to be seen.  The very attributes and admonitions as defined by Jesus are ever relevant. But; ‘Pray as we show and send in the dough, for giving is spiritual.  And did we mention; goodness will flow to you. This is your insurance policy after all!  We must spread the word. And all while a true life and the connections to It are all around each of us, but quite like ones own nose, so close they may be missed for what we do not know, what we are sure of we lack, and are hence susceptible to be manipulated to those claiming to know for us. It remains a truism; humans will believe anything if described sufficiently and assuredly.

Not As I Do

The against others teachings from the pulpit are not the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christ offered resolution and understanding via facing the real truth of situations and the responsibility of ones own state of awareness in beingness.  From there, the enlightened to Christ Way move on to make the health and security of the least of their neighbors a prime spiritual cause, a mandate for the Way of Love. As for those who do horrible things, Christ admonition was to ‘forgive them for they know not what they do’.  Only “The Money Changers” seemed to raise the ire of Christ as He saw their claim upon the temple; perhaps representing ones own consciousness, where comprehension of deep connection may abhor the parting out of Creation for self gain.

So called religious and cultural wars are diversions intended to perpetuate ignorance as God, while a true path to knowing Universality is claimed impossible, and only delegated to God. Wars and relationships remain in intractable conflict as long as a false truth is worshiped above the Universal Rule of Law. (I often capitalize primary concepts as you may have noticed along the way)

Unfortunately for much conservatism, doing without actually knowing is so often the way they roll. Entitled by hubris and the awareness that people can become confident followers in what they do not know for certainty, humanity has often sought the comfort of numbers; in religion, war, and economic definitions, above the transcendent attributes in knowing the all connectedness of Life and Spirit as One.

This strategy of diversion, denial and blame/shame, created the classic “other” phenomenon predicated on the individuals separation and alienation anxiety in regard to true spiritual power and authenticity as exemplified by the story of Jesus Christ.  Christ sought to break through ignorance and cultural/psychological dissociation. He spoke of self review as primary, with inner honesty as paramount to self realization.  He exhibited the transcendent nature of Love and caring for those born onto the earth, as if health for the garden and its abundance was paramount for humanity to thrive in peace.

May we find peace in every season.

‘Spiritual people transcend the judgemental nature of  political and other societal interest. They seek their own perfection; a union with The Divine, with no business in telling or suggesting to others how they should behave or change their ways.’

{This post delves in part into the subjective vs objective nature of spiritual perception and behavior.  It appears that there has been a movement to differentiate or obscure spiritual perception and motivation.

A movie called, “The Secret”, may highlight this shift in experiential perception, being that it makes spiritual reality out to be all about me and my success or failure in Life.  This tends to ignore attention to the relationships to society’s overarching systems and logical constructs the individual is immersed in, for one of self realization.

Human institutions, however, are human engineered, and as such, likely will at times require repair, overhaul or reinvention.  Just who does this is then is of critical importance.

Self realization is a good thing, but where one chooses to truncate self perception in consciousness may be another thing altogether.}

In Which Life Realm Is Spiritual Perception Excluded?

There appears to be a paradox in spirituality, or in other words, in living by The Truth(and I would add; of Love).  It seems there are kinds of obstacles to knowing The Truth of Spirit (God or of Life), and then of living by this awareness.

Various ideas have developed along humankind’s way to explain why we are having difficulty in our experience of Life.  Why do bad things happen and why do bad people and influences seem to be the reason why? Each of our personal spiritual perceptions, tends to have a narrative line as to why humans, and so we ourselves, have difficulties in life often caused by others, or some internalized trouble that seems to follow us. {  Abundance – Understanding the Cosmic Law of Attraction }

The “cure” to spiritual illness is promised by many religions, cultures and group sub-cultures.  Do this and get better; recite this and get better; perform this over and over and get better, plead and beg to God for Mercy and be better; Think only good thoughts and get better; pray and pray for your sins or for what you want and get better, and on and on…  For most of us, we may wonder why any number of these approaches at restoration can lead to salvation of our experience of Life and The Divine, then one day, without warning, we may suddenly wonder what happened?  Why am I now in trouble yet again?

Most of us know or suspect it is in us, this; why things go astray.  An old adage; ‘We find what we look for.’, (A form of The Law Of Attraction) simply sums up the basic spiritual challenge. We may in some unsuspecting moment wonder; “Why has this happened again?”.

Trouble seems to find us, or many of us, no matter where we go and what we do, all while I might be ignorant as to what perceptual lens I am looking through into my world all this time; a way of perception and cognition.  The sense of aloneness and alienation appears to separate us from a full heart immersion in our whole life, including others and outer environments.  The sense of self can retreat inward, erect walls for protection and exclusion.  I am then a somewhat lone individual, “On my own.” and possibly looking out for my survival. This senario sets up manipulative environments.

Our ego self, in this scheme of existence, seems separate from much of the rest of Life; people and all the universe.  A heart connection to any grand outer and overreaching Self seems absent.  We are susceptible here, to both restoration or not, and to attachment to various plans that purpose to fix the exclusionary experience.  Some of these can be ideologically invisible in cultures, such as in religion, politics, economics, and cultural definitions of reality, presenting their own scheme as to who deserves what from wherever and who does not, often based upon observable behaviors.

The Interpretation Program

We assume much by our processing of appearances as to what reality is.  We might perceive much more into reality by what we, in effect, have consented to regarding inter-human reality.  We look for things to confirm what seems to be, by what may well be erroneous standards that have institutionalized resistance to objective oversight. Conceptual firewalls are erected to defend unquestionable consensual reality matrices.  Classic to this defensiveness are Confirmation Bias and its best friend; Thought-terminating Clichés.  For an institutional defense such as to religion, the word, heretic, was a much used fear inducing cliché with a built in intention; to stop minds and hearts from opening up to challenging information or opinion.

Conserving Bias Is Intrinsic To Any Conservatism

Preserving bias in natural to conservatism.  We all conserve kinds of bias, particularly those we do not know are bias, such as many emotional states are; bias to a conservation of a subjective angle.  Subjectivity is individually unavoidable and useful. The problem endemic to it is; preserving a subjective view, by avoiding the rules and regulations of objective oversight, brings delusional cognition into being, preserving ignorance by a mandate of subjective ideology; the worshiping of self interest above universal connectivity.

Walled in trouble is likely found in any unquestionable zone–questioning not allowed, for I am then willing, by my instituted ignorance, to then agree to live by belief instead of by knowing.  Claiming things to be known’s when they are beliefs, becomes a mental prerequisite to keep the surface awareness of cognitive dissonance underground, where is wreaks a kind of spiritual, or soul havoc. We have created a contradiction and dissonance between the reality of Creation on one hand, and my ideas of It on another.

A new emotional diversion device now can become operational; that of projection, a casting out of ones subconscious demons onto outer targets.  These will be the people and behaviours which trigger the inner turmoil.  Inner demons are now sanctioned emotionally to be persecuted out in the collective zone, where I can old others responsible for my uncomfortable feelings. The conservative mentality is unawares, usually, of its deceptive trickery, but will now see these others as being most devious and subversive of all that is good in life.

All the while, an ignorance protects the evil inherent to conservative rationalization from being cognizant to the conservative.  The real truth will become seen as being part of the problem, so objectivity itself must be demonized.  This is one reason why so many “spiritual people” find the scientific method so objectionable.  It appears to be a contradictory faith to their own.

In general, conservatives are locked into their belief as a unquestioned reality.  Other ideas will then be perceived as false no matter how objectively accurate or honest they actually are.  Those who seek an honest evaluation of truthfulness by the laws of evidence and association–deep cause an effect, will be blamed and shamed by the conservative mind. This has created a huge industry in cognitive dissonance avoidance, projection, and blaming and shaming of those who reveal questions to the conservative mindset.

Conservatives are actually spiritually insecure, under internal pressure to force belief over truthful reality, a story over the Living Truth.  This makes for both many an unhappy camper, unhappy the world has such challenges in it, as well as an inherently arrogant that they are right and the rest of the world wrong.

One recent example is the climate change debunking campaigns, often being waged in honor of diverting attention from pollution generating industries and lifestyles.  These industries pay much for favorable propaganda, finding natural allies in those shifting the context on environmental data to incite doubt.  For instance; last winter a major snowstorm was widely touted as honest evidence of the dishonesty of global warming advocates.

(Climate Change is a theory based upon the chemical and particulate alterations humans are making to the atmosphere.  Aspects of its evidence can appear contradictory, when they are actually evidence of the complex changes and extremes being created as climate shifts. Manipulators know the value of ignorance, as well as the lifestyle and belief attachments a population may have.

Control of perception is all about containing and arranging its parameters, usually invisibly so as to not appear manipulative.  Polluting industries will associate lifestyle, employment as mandates to the good nature of their intention. Divert attention from apparent problems to apparent good things, shifts appearance Reality cognitions.

This is designer Consensus Reality creation; the attempt to put the individual perception into a conserved question free zone.  Now accountability for the reality of pollution falls upon populations(who must pick up the tab or face the consequences) and not the corporation or industry, making an institution such as Democracy, less of an obstacle to individual or corporate behavior.  Spiritual “schisms” or dichotomies can then be harmonized with supposed economic ones, the individual not knowing where they have now given up their authority to a “new” authority quite likely to abuse it.

The Perceptual Shell Game

Opportunism and ignorance can use superficial contradictions as being evidence of deeper ones, perhaps leading one to think the evidence is evidence of deception by a surface fact. Now attention is diverted, ignoring the deep context of the reality of the vast preponderance of data. One of the biggest industrial tools in the propaganda news worlds box on crayons is the using of ignorance to preserve and conserve wealth over the consequences of reality, a Faustian bargain.

Meanwhile, Central Park in New York City has just had it warmest meteorological summer on record.  I have heard nothing about this from political punditdum, unlike the right wing “echo chambers”–(circular repetition through media outlets of ideas, talking points, to enhance the appearance of truthfulness by repetition) widely publicized debunking global warming campaign last winter.  This evidences the disingenuous Confirmation Bias, with its selective truth gathering, along with all the blaming and shaming that went along with it.

The whole effort is manufactured to control individual identity attachments by propaganda.  When someones ideas are made to seem the ones of bad people, truth can be sacrificed for belief.  The individual is now wedged away from objectivity, including honest truthfulness and full context.  This allows manipulation by identity attachments to trump Truth, while believing it now is the defender of The Truth.

But whatever happened to The Secret and Spiritual Perception?  It is actually everywhere.

Getting What I Ask For Without Knowing Its Deeper Connection To Reality

Notions such as loyalty, seek to bypass honest evaluations of the Truth, for explanations of subjective connection now worshiped as The Truth of Value.  Now real truth can be scorned for ideological connection and purity; meaning honest objectivity is demeaned for what are now ideological sacrosanct conceptions of value, worth and self respectability.

This does not negate the humility, that as human beings, our minds are physically incapable of knowing all as far as we know.  Instead, I am fully capable of asking myself why I chose a method of perception that excludes the honest path of knowledge for one of a consensual agreement over wishful thinking.

Here, in this avoidance platform, is where many a Thought-terminating Cliché will reside. These are kind of diversionary signs that cry out conceptually; Danger!  Do not enter!  You know this is False and against your survival interest. Instead of a fact based warning based upon the rule of Truth Itself, we can stand in proclaimed unquestionable “truths” probably declared to be The Truth. This comes with human designer intentions, including a methodology internalizing unexaminable ignorance laying claim to owning Truth, and even to owning The Divine by proclamation and not honest observation inclusion.

We may as well exclude what seems not to comply to our presumptions, even so far as to deny our own experience of its right to “complain” about inconsistency and contradiction in our own actions.  These are primitive but effective mechanisms for maintaining pretence as being real without our own conscious awareness.  We do have a kind of “Law of Attraction” in this ‘finding what we look for.  This does not fill in the question of presumption; that if I decide to be in charge of my experience by seeking what I would rather happen; how do I know my desire is right? Am I allowed to wonder over my reasons, or must I blindly believe that my desire is Divine and cannot be questioned?

The Law of Attraction may have a corollary; “The Law of Avoidance”, which may have the Full reality of my situation being discarded, for it contains possible experience that does not appear to be desirable, lets say illness or suffering loss.  For spiritual perception, is this honoring Spirit, or claiming Life to in some way be itself an error which I have decided to avoid?  Anger, argument, contentious debate; do these have a place in my life or is it too important for my wish list of self actualization achievement to engage in them?

Religion, and in another word, spirituality, are under pressures that often relate to a cultures state of being.  In very rosy times, with all this modern worlds believed in benefits, we are encouraged to find ourselves contented in our possessions. What you have and how much, or how big and how important your possessions are, becomes a kind of worshiped ideology.  Wealth and power increase in apparent and consensual realities, questions to them being largely avoided. Some now include God in this idea of me having, possessing the real one, to everyone elses wrong one.

In crisis we may claim that all we need is our health and one another, but outside of crisis, much else is encouraged to compete for our attention.  We are currently in an age of materialism worship as well as that of experience.  List of must doo’s point direction for the exciting and fulfilled life.  Being, being where you are, being with what you have, loving Life as it is, and supporting the prerequisite for that, seem relegated to those with near death experiences, or certain of the poets and mystics.

The rest of us are in serious need of keeping up with our wants and all their survival interest; the ones driving society into increasing stress, and the planet into increasing instability. Many of us have a desire NOT to know what we are really doing, while wanting to know how to get what we wish for to keep up.  Lifestyle becomes the self driver, while Spirit, not so much, unless of course we now consider material success to be that of spiritual as well.  The eye of the needle seemingly replaced by the glow of abundance.  Well as long as you find some manner of claiming that money, or having is not your love of it, just nice to have since God likes me for being a believer in good faith?

We are now essentially ruled, governed, by money and possession.  Many a relationship crumbles under the strains of getting and keeping, as if it is wed to money.  We are subservient to survival, a survival now highly manipulated, proliferating with what are essentially deceptive schemes to gag and bound the individual, including ones interest and considerations, to maintaining the lifestyle of the power interest wed to having.  Identity for many is now framed to a grand good life, and so the threats to that are all those poor and unfit humans seemingly all too abundant in their failures.

Take a look into most conservative, (modern propaganda conservatives that is), and you will see most all the tricks of the mind control trade; identity framing diversion, demonization of objectivity, contortion of value to serve hierarchical human systems and demeaning those who have little, as only deserving what they have.

This strategy of shame and blame seems to have found a natural ally with much religion. Religion is not exactly fact nor context oriented and has nearly identical shaming and blaming tactics related to preserving hierarchical relationships.  Materialism’s diversion and subversion of identity finds a natural ally with established religion systems; their mind control and manipulation strategies are nearly identical, and they rely on belief above fact and context.

My Religious Experience

I was a member of a church a long time ago.  I was a full time member, one who gave services at times, speaking for as long as I wished during the service I was conducting.  I loved expressing what I felt were the deeper truths of life, as well as preparing during non-service days for what I would offer; by how truthful and observant I would be to “The Truth” during each day.  The pressure of this seemed to heighten emotion, awareness and humility.

Much material of “service” relevance comes to one from their own lack of perfection and consistencies to what they believe to be Truth. Relationship issues, self respect issues, these are often demonstrated in ones respect for others and of Life.

Very deep self issues; the unresolved issues of the far past, particularly childhood, tend to simmer subconsciously, they can come up, “acting out”. This happens not because some evil spirit is particularly doing it from the outside at the time, but because ignorance is harmful inside; ignorance of ones own motivational platforms, and ignorance of those who likely passed this emotional, perceptual virus to you or me from their own ignorance.  We can feel cursed, or that “This is how it goes for me!” Persistent issues of the soul tend to be the unresolved ones, deep ones relating to love; its abandonment or conditionality manipulation.  These are kinds of primal experience disharmonies with what seems the design of our lives in the universe.  We do seemed designed to be in a state of love.

The First Cut

In a manner, with this early problematic injection of separation, we can seem cursed. The source of the “spell” may be silently known to have come from the outside; it is not how we now want our life to be, and especially did not when we learned to internalize the dysfunction.  When ignorance such as this acts out, some sort of illness follows, bodily illness, perhaps in the mind, and spiritual illness; how we perceive reality.  The haunting nature of what is sometimes referred to as “The Sins of the Father” seem to persist until resolution.  Misrepresentations of Life and Spirit, in effect, ask for resolution by understanding and forgiveness. It is necessary to comprehend the ignorance and let go of its legacy.  Understanding of the human spirit is usually required.

Most humbling to the emotions is this fact; we live in a rational universe that is known by being present with reason.  We have trouble if our ignorance is secretly in the drivers seat with its worshiping of rationalization and question diversion above honest realty perception.

I am not saying that The Law of Attraction is precisely wrong.  What is wrong is if and when what we seek is to be not scrutinized as to its connection the the Living Context our lives are emerged in.  If this lack of scrutiny is the case, then ignorance will surely follow, opening its doorway to evil.

We need to know how wrongness happens.  Why? To respect what is right and true.  It is that simple.

Nothing is beyond our spiritual hands; not the environment, not societal issues, not political or spiritual consideration.  Those who suggest this is not the case, should be scrutinized for their refusal to question; Just what are they hiding or allegedly protecting; The Truth or ignorance?  We will not know without an honest question being allowed…

God Said What? Who Said?

This post is about the nature of religion, belief, faith, truth, love, evil, trust, honesty and knowing; I “know” I likely left some aspects of this post out.

I am writing this article to address a well meaning book (I Don’t Have Enough FAITH to Be an ATHEIST) that I was sent to seemingly purge out the falsity of my atheist ways.  I am not an atheist!,  so there is some perceptual problem apparently.

Some of our fellows feel they can tell what we should be thinking, cause they “know” what they believe in.  This approach for defining reality by belief, is fraught with a possibility of hidden evil, by evil I mean the things which ignorance and emotion can do to human consciousness in the name of reason.  Most of us in established religious groups, do not know all to what we belong to; its reason for being and our abilities to freely wonder about it. We are psychologically and logically setup.

Though indoctrinated into Catholicism via Catholic grammar school, I was a kind of agnostic/atheist when in my early youth; too much tragedy–(–a later link–) with no signs whatsoever of cosmic care. That changed in an instant when I encountered a thing beyond reason–Divine Intervention.   ENCOUNTER WITH THE SUPERNATURAL: SIGNS FROM GOD

I remain in respect for atheist and agnostics who are humanist, those who intend to “do right” (as in the Categorical Imperative) even though they think no one or no Thing is watching or cares.  That is spiritual strength; an awareness that I will do right because right is right to do. I align with Truth.  Wrongness contradicts the life that I am to its foundation, so I reject it for what is a higher purpose–rightness beyond subjective superficiality of desire or temptation.  Religious orthodoxies are quite threatened by these folks, seeming to not belive humans can do right without their ideas breathing down their necks.

This doing right on ones own, is much more an achievement than those who “do what they are told” because of fear of God, brown-nosing to Authority, Don’t want to go to hell, The comfort perks and spiritual “surety” of religious community, or looking for a good place in the afterlife. The humanist position takes courage, and the other conformity to outside ideas, and presumably much internalized dichotomy from temptation suppression.

Being verified by outside ideas tends to stimulate the impulse to spread those ideas to others in order that they too think like one thinks one does.  This sort of prostilization dependency loop creates a kind of self motivating confirmation bias in seeing others change from how, “I once was, like you.”, to my new community of embracing acceptance.

{ Some religions use “shepherding”, where the energy of new converts is watched and micromanage closely to conform to “correct” thought (I was involved with a group helping people exit cult entrapment).}  The warmth and purpose of community association, with all the human and assumed spiritual/emotional perks that come with that; a kind of love, respect, care for one another, bonding and extended family.

The Easy Road

Other human beings associated with your culture; who claim apiori truth from narratives claimed to be infallible, are a common human issue wherever one goes upon this earth.  Native groups claim fantastic stories as the Primal Cause of The People.  These become conserved orthodoxies with a sense of our truth as The Truth.  We also have tribalism interfacing with these differing stories.  We then layer on human role differentiations and ways of perceiving the wonders of Life codified to these stories.  They make sense to those immersed inside the culture, but maybe not so much to the rest of humanity who live outside of it.

Yet we are human.  We have pretty much the same needs. We also have pretty much the same faults and errors in cognitive perception.  We may think others should do as we wish.  Life would be much better for me that way.  Achieving kinds of order in the organization of society may make society function as a greater whole, but that does not mean that that whole is more right or true.  Truth does not solely depend on numbers or “winners” in a narrative.  I so many ways; might is used to make right in materialistic and spiritual claimed societies, especially when God is defined as the maker and doer of life and death and we are, or are said not to be, on It or His side, or to come under eternal fire.

A culture comes with automatic positives for some or most people; place, belonging, purpose, reliable order, safety in some respects; all while Love seeks to bond us no matter what, Love seeks to teach us more than the limitations of ourselves, Love makes us into more magnificent beings…  Love, respect, daily effort, all the must have’s for healthy living try to make their way into whatever culture we happen to be closest to.  The narration of what is right or wrong, or in order or not, will come into various states of harmony or disharmony in us as the individual relates to their greater connection of place and assumed purpose—as the Real Truth exist in perfection not likely in any of our conscious possession.

We then have a kind of weakness that can be manipulated by physical and authority power.  The soft spots of separation and alienation, shame and ostracism, can bend the individual to accept stories and explanations at face value.  Again; a survival strategy that does not denote truth or rightness, but is often presented as such.– You do this “Or else!”

Probing Weakness For Its Societal Value By Ignorance Known As Opportunism

Self dissonance, as a threat to connectivity, will create stress in ones emotions as well as perceived causes of it.  As always, we can be more right or more wrong about it, for we do not always know what part our imagination plays, or how a scripted interpretation may be skewing what we see of ourselves and of what others are doing.  Usually, a strong attitude will show the lack of evidence one has to make a truly logical case by the facts.  Might is trying to substitute for right by force of rationalization and not honest reason.

Our emotions are subjective; we are making them, yet we often attribute the cause of them to be in others and situations.  You make me feel!—- These things may play their part, but it is often “easy” to project the badness upon someone other than oneself.  Projection is a self protective mechanism.  Emotions, however, no matter how confident or in support of a fine narrative, do not denote rightness, they denote reaction.

This primitive survival phenomenon of reaction to the external by ones idea of it, is a powerful persuasive animal impulse for the disadvantaged, the lonely, those in spiritual and emotional stress, and oh yes; those not entitled to question authority or use critical thinking ability to discern fact from fiction (except where sanctioned).  The immersion experience; in family, groups, cults and cultures, can leave one not quite knowing where ones boundaries are.  We belong to a kind of whole, yet do not necessarily know what it is about nor where it is going; we are written into the story.

What is Behind The Fix That Is On?  Questions That May Not Be Allowed To Be Answered

Conservatism in general, tends to buttress presumption of knowns, seeing change induced by outer causes inclusion as being erosion of belief.   Conservative ideologies have an intrinsic problematic place; self preserving amidst a pluralistic world of other self preserving conceptual paradigms.  This produces the sense of “natural” human dichotomy; where other systems are seen as alien, and likely in negative framed competition against our true idea of The Truth.

Belonging to anything, especially the narratives of confident conservatism, is in and of itself, a seemingly good thing; a protective and creative connection in its own kind of Commons, or shared definition of life.  While immersion experience may seem healthy overall psychologically, with all its support, affirmation, and place within The Story, critical awareness can be subdued or completely repressed, trapping the individual and possibly the group, in a kind of ignorance–the fertile fields where evil can breed illusion and delusion undetected.

That book I am writing this post in part about; said there are just 3 kinds of belief regarding God; theist, pantheist, and no God, like humanist.  Theist believe God made everything; pantheist believe God is in everything; and unbelievers like humanist, believe we are all on our own.  I know this idea of deconstructive reductionism is used to clarify differences, especially between theism and pantheism.  They say Buddhist are pantheist for instance.  These differences are human made ones about how to think of God or not.  I submit the conceptions of The Divine are not honestly reducible to these either or absolutes.  The clarification, or quantification, obscures the nuance and complexity of experience as it manifest.

Considering the idea of God is an abstraction, I have known of many Christians and churches that say God is Love.  I do not disagree with the claim, but does it define; made love, is in love, or that humanist do not love?  This is part of religions problem, and especially these who try to intellectually compartmentalize and reduce humanity to its differences regarding who has the real God.

(Just a coincidence seeming to coincide with what once would be called tribal difference? Did God  know we would have debate and draw perhaps mistaken conclusions about God from our problematic human perceptive?  Are we to assume a final judgement on being right or wrong over how we thought mistakenly, or in error, determines a life’s truly spiritual merit?).

Evangelicals in particular; make many wishful and magical claims at “knowing” how the Bible is true, with their current version of the Jesus Of Nazareth story as true.  The proof is actually faith and belief, which are, though we may hate to admit it; at the mercy of ignorance.  We claim our ignorance is Truth along with whatever is actually true in these narratives.  With ignorance being in some manner worshiped as Truth and Gods Word, evangelicals are left with likely Evil (ignorance in action) as part of their belief matrix.

Each preacher rearranges the story-lines and the interpretations of one society to presumably fit seamlessly into today’s world.  Today’s world is not fully known by anyone, just as the jumping to conclusion about the ways God is or is not conceived by all. Presumptions are repeated over and over again in the name of God, but are they really?

Those claiming to be living directly in the Bibles way are imagining they are.  There is no proof that they are; except their belief as a self described reborn evangelical, an assumption.  I do not know you are “reborn” or actually believe in God, or are assuming God is real, going along can be little more than the comforting acceptance of successful mimicry.

The issues with Biblical infallibility are many. Many contradictory and false statements occur within the Bible, leaving one to wonder what “Truth” evangelicals think they are actually following?  And what motivates them to make unfounded claims?  And it only gets worse; the New Testament’s narrative has been manipulated by humans throughout the ages.  Political and religious interest have deleted or demonized some Gospels; particularly those which seemed to suggest the life of Jesus portrayed God as being also in Creation, as Buddhist might.  The adjustments have become so established, and their exclusions so denounced; that the familiar has come to rule as the winner and presumed owner of the new one and only True Truth. I will put others questions of Biblical authenticity and fallibility later.

So we must ask this question; Would God not know how questionable the nature of books of the Bible are, and actually respect those who think for themselves to seek out the Truth beyond religions scripted assemblages?  So what is really behind much organized religion and its hierarchical blame and shame mindsets claiming to be Divine?  Why is so much conservatism FEAR CASTING ?, a kind of cognitive spell cast over perceptual awareness, not so unlike Black Magic.

My Definition of Essential Spiritual Concepts

Firstly. God in not an intellectual argument requiring proof and specific miracles, as most religions go on and on and on about; study, study and be grilled.  God does not require begging and proofs or our claims of existence, loyalty or being addressed in the proper manner; these are human dysfunctional issues; God is about the real.  One intends to be within Gods Way or not, by measures of knowing, belief or ignorance.

What God’s Message Told Me:

God Is Love; Love Is All

Evil is the lack of Love.

A simple message of unconditional Love, (as sometimes opposed by an individuals subjective love of possession), unconditional Love not requiring much explanation or orders for conformity and rules affecting ones future heavenly abeyance. I have lived in ignorance of this Primal Cause and Its Coherency with my life, allowing emotions and insufficient information to draw their own conclusion, producing a form of evil that left me seemingly unable to see Love.  Love is everywhere, but I was not aware of Its image and likeness as my own purpose.

By extrapolation then; Evil in the world is Ignorance; a kind of ignorance of the self that transcends reality to affect our emotions and awareness through our cognitive and creative abilities into our environments.  We can produce, with our ignorance, surprising things; some of genius and some of grave error.  But can we distinguish which is which and what may be behind their curtains?

Can you know when you are in accordance with Creation; The Way of God, or with evil; the way of ignorance (confusion/illusion/delusion) pretending to be known?  These empirical emotional states seem as knowns. Example: I can be sure you are a fool by not commenting to me, or by commenting to me in ways I disagree with.  I can also think you are “on my side” by claiming my insights are shared by you. But what is actually known by me of you through my feelings that are not Love?  That is the question.

{Fortunately or not; this question was given directly to me from a transcendant source imposed upon me, quite impossible to explain objectively –If one has not had this experience. Subjectively delivered truth given in the name of objectivity is not possible to explain scientifically, except by going to theories of cognitive dysfunctional experience. That Love covers everything in existence from God’s Will, is mind boggling, as well as emotionally humbling in the extreme.  It is up to me to see It, or not to see It.  All that was so wrong to my feelings were never intended that way by The Divine. I have no other “how to” formula to convey about the realization.}

There was a widely circulated article a few years back by a Christian conservative arguing that love is the problem.  He went on to confuse the self love of possessing Creation in ones own name, with Big Love–that which unites and embraces All.  From my own experience; I knew how wrong this guy was and how confused he was.  As the authors of the book I brought up; kinds of good intentions are passed around like torches of enlightenment and reason, while they may well be running on the fuels of reaction and ignorance.  God is not about how well we suppress our love by living in perceptual inhibition.

More speculations on interpreting my experience of The Divine in our cultural terms.

In Gods Image and Likeness.  Image, not identical. You see your image in the mirror; we are in a manner of speaking, in Gods mirror. God has only Love for us, but has granted us autonomy.  We cannot conceive of God in any full, accurate or technical manner.  Books and all included.

We are not just mirrored reflections of a multidimensional Being. We are allowed to create, and in so doing, to engage Creation; to perform with Creation, or perhaps to also act against it by being in ignorance of It.  Ignorance and imagination become evil if extrapolated into behavioral formulas of cognition, perception and action.  And yet still—Love covers all.  When this happens to you, intentionally (if possible), out of the blue or at death, you can come to understand the poetry of Creation at hand.

So On The Subject Of Evangelical Rationalization And Atheistic Deception

Now I do not know what religious folks would think of my letter here so far, but I can and will speculate of their intentions, presumptions and validation, for they will not themselves.

Rigorous objectivity and critical analysis are not an option for many conservatives to soundly examine themselves.  At least this seems the evidence I see of their behavior and expression into the world.  They feel entitled to seek out converts and condemn the world beyond themselves as governed by Satan and or Liberalism, and all those other conservative orthodoxies that are not themselves.

The world has various conservative orthodoxies competing for; not just population market share, but world domination.  Unfortunately, these orthodoxies are not allowed to have an objective overview of themselves, for that would well imply change and acceptance of the unknown, unsettling their world and spiritual view.  Fear and insecurity will keep them in there (un)safe harbor of exclusion and denial.  This means evil will lurk as both fear and apparent wisdom.

Evangelical leaders, at the least, judge the world in God’s name, which is taking God’s name in vain. The book; I Don’t Have Enough FAITH to Be an ATHEIST, is an attempt at might makes right in a kind of logical sense.  The authors may well be well intentioned, but the false premised nature of so much of their proofs rationalizations wreaks of their own spiritual insecurity.  As with much evangelical thought, the initial presumption is often used as its own evidence, a kind of circular reasoning. The confidence of the argument depends upon the narrowness of the ideas parameters. That other interpretations of Being have value, is pretty much discarded for their own construct of reason and what there is for them in their narrowed confines of reason to wonder about.

Evangelicals require not just a leap of faith, but a contract in not acknowledging the ignorance of matters they claim self evident as being God’s.   First and foremost is that they know what the real Word of God is from the Bible as an infallible vehicle that have travelled for millenia.  There is no sound evidence for this, being that interpretations vary over what was said and who said what, with documents not going back to the actual time period. But many gospels were excluded from Christianity along the way.  The easy, or is it lazy, claims of faith and belief as their special compensation, betray all the evidencing and witnessing many “true believers” are seemingly compelled to offer as real proof of a real ideas manifestation, as the authors of the aforementioned book selectively manipulate.

Humans were adjusting the “Word of God” to words that the leaders manipulating the documents intended to proceed with.  Now we must assume politicians were infallible as well, but in the world of evangelicalism, any new interpretation is possible as long as their definition of the actual “Word of God” is said to be authentic.  Again, a human based interpretations for human based reasons.

Evangelicals are often putting words into Gods Mouth, so to speak.  Observe the sermons; some enlightening and at least one on TV eliciting prayers for God to get certain Supreme Court justices out of His way.  Before the 2008 presidential election in the US, I heard one preaching to God that He must not abandon His People.  Direct orders to The Divine, seeming to question if God knows what He is doing or allowing to be done. So the Bible says to ask in Jesus name, just like a magical spell to be cast over local creation, if an idea in the Bible can be extrapolated to sanction something one may desire—bingo!

Liberalism is receiving this kind of instruction to the faithful; get rid of it or else you are abandoning God, likely right now, as I type this on this Sunday morning.  The problem is as we have seen politically; the “faithful”, in denying their suspicion of ignorance, fear enough to follow instructions as lemmings at the cliff edge, “In the name of God”, or in the name of the executive.

‘They know not what they do’; whether they are really serving God, Country, or serving Evil, for they are not allowed to know the real difference from authorities presumably speaking in Gods Name. Who is telling them to study which aspects or biblical narration, or see the Bible which way for what reason?  We may wonder, for they are not allowed open critical thinking.  We expect an expert will do that for them.

We see much contempt for Creation as it is, from conservatives and religious and political orthodoxies.  Notice the good intentions of their claims, yet the hostility, judgement and condemnations flowing from their ideologies. They offer no true way right now for compassion, empathy, inclusion, solution. No means right now for unbridled, non ideological understanding.  No open door for Love to grow within and to flow out.

The God of Creation is being kept out for the false idol of ideology and intellectual reductionism being called faith and proof.

I’ve been getting referral views from folks looking for signs from God in the Haiti earthquake.

What can I say?

Pat Robertson has alleged that the Haitian earthquake was a sign from God, claiming that Haiti has made a pact with the devil. ( FYI : Port- Au-Prince is right near a fault line. There are several earthquakes (approx 19) on earth each year over 7. on the Richter Scale)

By the same token, when Mount Rainer blows its top or has a large glacial meltdown triggering a potentially deadly lahar, anyone can claim that God is punishing, Oh lets say, Seattle coffee culture.  Mount St Helen (which I heard explode) was trying to punish the Pacific Northwest for being liberalish. I’m sure that was why.

The frightening “natural” cause of these sorts of alleged signs from God, being expressed by religious and or political ideologues is; they think they speak for Gods Mind. Somehow, likely from a permission seen acted out from these individual’s history–That leaders who think they are right can speak for God–religious sanction of Divine Thought expression; and that is a delusion of grandeur extraordinaire.

Not only do they hope you and I believe their delusion, but they insert a particular socioeconomic, political, or spiritual idea of their’s as being actually of God’s.  In this sense, many of these negative framed proselytizers are pagan themselves (worshiping their opinion as God’s) while pretending to represent a monotheistic paradigm.  Their premise is the same as paganism; assign God to nature, only they tag it to specific occurences as acts of God, and not a host of god personalities.

Since these kinds of folks are familiar by enculturation with having these kinds of self imposed biases as being acts of God for things people do; they make up God’s Mind with their comments.  Many a conservative religious idol dispenses demands of sorts upon God, but do not see it as such; they see it as a benevolent blessing and special connection they trust they have with God, enabling them, in their mind, to dispense blessings and assign damnation from their will on God’s Behalf.

I am both a Christian and a pantheistic person.  I feel God is around and in everything–no exclusion clause, as if God had nothing to do, nor active interest in Creation. For me, the lessons of Jesus Christ showed us all a holy way to be; To care for all, but most importantly those who cannot care for themselves. To treat the presence of Divine Worth in others, particularly in those we humans may well feel are worthless or condemned.  Jesus did not seem particularly enamoured with the “haves”, He seemed to notice they lose something of their humanity the more they seem to have; the Eye Of The Needle and all… Jesus professed a kind of Divine Union by Love.

This said, regarding telling others of Gods Will by what we call disaster; those who propose particular natural world events; floods, earthquakes, fires, meteors etc, to be the evidence of Gods wrath and will being projected onto particular humans for their “ways”, is claiming to know what God is thinking, and especially, that God goes after those one dislikes (for whatever reason). Now God is presumed active in nature when raining some kind of terror upon the unholy, for being wrong or making mistakes and error’s in their ways.  Well; is God butting in to our worlds or not?  How responsible are we, then, for our lot in life? What of the good Christians who died in the earthquake?  Punished for being near sinners?

There are critical thinking diversions inserted for disabling both cognitive dissonance and contradiction; God works in mysterious ways; you cannot know the way of God, such as; ‘Well.  He needed them in heaven’, and any number of other Thought-terminating clichés.  This allows most orthodoxies to persist through crippling God given critical thinking abilities for seeing reality clearly and acting in honest unison with it.   Most mind control depends on having things “both ways” while believing one is true to one in any instance.

This seems to presume God is judging us by the perfection standards of a Divine Being, when I thought we were human and not Omniscient; at times we create ill with the best of intention. This all says much more about someones own solipsistic doctrine and need to status claims to Divine Mind, than a real Gods energy directed at certain humans.  We are playing at God, yet hiding behind God’s “statements” which then are cast like spells upon whomever we may declare unholy.  Not surprisingly, the alleged unholy are often following their own notions of Creation and What or Whom rules it.

The political and ideological propaganda stealthily injected into religion by many a conservative, is more an indication of their lack of knowing in God. These alleged orthodoxy adherents seem to have a selective fondness for selected believed in ideas of His that seem to show lack of tolerance and rage towards those not obeying some Law, a “Law” that may quite likely be wildly interpreted to suit social, economic and political realities.  We will find these laws being “broken”, are broken by those who do not support ones own social, moral or political agendas.  It is putting words and ideas into the alleged mind of God by proxy, indicating a delusion of grandeur of lawless scope and self serving design.

Many a conservative is actually a hyper liberal of sorts, only hiding their perception under ideas they believe sanction them to have any belief about a notion they wish.  Doesn’t really matter if some alleged authority tells you it is Gods Way.  It is humans saying they are God and that you are somehow ignorant and dependent upon them, which they call God.

Running The Universe In Their Own Minds

An Indian reservation near Tucson Arizona was experiencing a continuing drought in the 1990′s, much of southwest US still is.  A native spokesperson (chief) and assumed holy man of the reservation, declared the drought was occurring because the young people of the reservation had lost interest in native culture/religion and were leaving it.  This was the same drought I was in.  Yet for those who much prefer sunny dry weather, as many an Arizona immigrant from cold wet climates does; overall it was good times.  The gods or Spirit must be smiling on them big time?

Let Me Tell You What God Is Thinking For Events Unfolding

Conservatives can claim connection, yes even to the Divine, or The Founding Fathers, or to Jesus et al, because their concept of cause and effect has become tailored by idea and not by full fact or full context.   They truncate context and call it context, select facts to fit idea and call that common sense, or seemingly. It appears they just plain do not see the quicksand or reason their concept being pushed may be sinking into, and by damning critical thinking, they blind their followers to it as well.  They have crippled their cosmological view and spiritual perspective.

Then, for instance, you can get Rush Limbo stating that there is some kind of nefarious reason between Obama’s response time for a shooting or failed bombing incident, requiring multi levels of investigation and analysis before wise action can be taken, no matter who is president, (such as George Bush’s even longer response time after the “shoe bomber”), and a whole differing level and degree of cause for responding quickly to a natural disaster where thousands of lives depend on immediate physical help.

As if responding quickly in one instance, and not in another, is a coherent reason for some concept of causal idea comparison (disconnect context and connect faulty premise based assumption–confirmation bias.  It is false context and idea baiting to fool those ready and willing to be fooled.  The demagogues way depends on such ready and willing minds to spunge up bias as if it were truth fair and square.  The great, in is own mind, Rush (to judgement) Limbo, went on to séance concepts of Obama pandering to his black audience, while emoting a stirring cauldron of confirmation biased propaganda as what was being decifered by “facts” from the dark mind of Obama.  See how ad-hominem imagery can cast a spell over assumption?

Confirmation Bias And Presumed Consensus Reality As Appearance Reality

Faith can become the laziest thing, making it even a more powerful agent for deception.  One need believe, make claims, then accept the assumptions the group or culture puts out there; This happens cause of this.  You got a cold?  You might have been doing something wrong morally.  But is that truly cause and effect, wishful thinking, or known disingenuous mind framing?

For the conservative and orthodox conceptual mind-frames; purity of belief is held above fact and reasoned theory of causality, religion above science because science calls for debated evidence to show itself in reality.  Not because God ever said this; that the laws of His natural world were designed against Him,  but because the consensual reality has declared it for very earthly reason; reason that can be as simple as status, conformity’s fear of existential identity challenge, prestige, favor, but quite often money, and the appearance reality that goes along with it in many conditioned minds.

Minds can claim anything they wish, yet these wishes are not necessarily conditioned by the Spirit of Christ.  But money?  It allows one to assume the rewards of the Universe, or even God or self as God; to enjoy its benefits while others who do without and are excorsised from heart consideration.

The spirit of easy opportunity and ego inflation will bend practically any notion backwards and forwards to reward the entitlement.  Strangely it seems, or maybe not so strange, money and possession are at the very core of many human identity conflicts. Money, being abstract and of no intrinsic moral value, allows the good, the bad, and the very ugly to be “safe” in the steady comforts of its illusory harbor. Money is an entitlement reward, abstract and of human symbolic design, as valuing gold or diamonds, but perhaps less intrinsically pretty.

It is of no surprise to me that the activist, “conservative” supreme court has said, in effect, that money is more an American than we the individual.  It is also no surprise that many a conservative pundit and propagandist, bend over at money’s trough while claiming moral, ethical, survival or spiritual superiority over the Liberal institutions of Democracy and of Christ life lesson.

Conservatism is inherently undemocratic and antiChristian, yet with its followers minds and hearts unplugged from the Whole Commons of Being, in darkness, Truth can go unseen and God be interpreted or misinterpreted at will.

Which human beings can not be wrong?

This is a most relevant question for each human being to answer.

Bracketed comment is a caveat regarding questioning and faith.

{To question to acertain reality, is always a fundamental teleological position; to be able to investigate the universe for information to discern truth from falsity.

We find pattern, connection and their revelation in consciousness which arrives initiating a deeper question; what is Life’s meaning and purpose? What is my value? Not questioning, or not being allowed to question, is tantamount to not allowing oneself to know the truth, including true patterns and true interrelationships.But of primary concern here; to question means to know what one has faith in.

Any subjective thing may consider itself true and valid, while to become objective, to be trusted and validated for any to see; why that is another matter altogether, as well as another place. It may well reveal the true reality of Life; beyond human narrative, but including it.

Yet the timid soul will dwell in stagnant spinning, in a place of festering ignorance; were fiction can be called fact, and fact be called fiction, with no way of honestly determining one thing from another.  This brings one to the many methods human use for mind control; where little known, a soul surrenders to what it knows not.

This be the fate of followers and of their leaders alike.  They become mutually co-dependent and co-deceived.  They cannot tell nor know when fantasy has deceived them,  for they are dependent upon its confirmation.  Seeking to see only what serves their idea and discredits those of others.

In this marriage of ignorance and denial, where the world will be persecuted for its difference, for its lack of conformity to conserved ideas professed to be absolute unquestionable truths.  Ignorance now gains its henchmen, its sycophants and proselytizers who praise the way of faith and belief above that of Truth, yet claim them wed to It.

Such as these will create their institutions, edifices attributed with the apperance of fact itself, but lacking honest inquiry to real cause and effect.  It is the boastful and prideful way of an anesthetized mind, where the peaceful bliss of inaction, of locked in perception, is preferable to the ambiguity, nuance and rigors of the challenge all humans are given in each moment.

Here will draw the jingoistic for nations, and professed holy men and women for God.  It is behind these flags and garbs where ignorance and broken bias can pretend to wear the garments of Truth and of Love.  It is the best and least expected hiding place of darkness, and in these names, darkness can wreak its blinded havoc while claiming holy ground and sacred right.

In this broken perception, darkness will call itself Light. }

Gospel Juggling Through The Ages

When people cite the Bible as the source of one idea or another, or as the accurate and definitive definition of the life of Jesus Christ, they are knowingly or not, asking us to blindly accept a highly edited document. Claims of absolute authority, and cross referenced “proof” of the nature and intent of Christ life produced from within this document, are not justified by the historical tampering known to have happened to the Bible.  Human beings are deciding what is claimed as unaltered sacred information.

What many Abrahamic faiths either do not know, or do not care to know for reason of cognitive dissonance, avoidance of contradictory counter-indication, prior programing bias–confirmation bias, programmed in fear of questioning, or peer pressure to hierarchical mind control techniques; is that orthodoxy is above all, a means of not using ones God given critical thing abilities to determine for oneself what is true as life is lived.

The evidence gathered and ascertained by ones own cognition is told it has but one honest interpretation–The Bible.  Depends on the group which true Bible it is, for some keep adding things of their own persuasion.

Knowingly amputated hearsay information of the life of Jesus Christ does not suffice as proof of Divine Intent. Spiritual knowing comes from ones own awareness, and not indoctrination and the vast array of peer conformity pressures that squeezes perception into myopic views.

This institutionalized ignorance over spiritual tenets or otherwise believed in definitions of ultimate good, avoids the ambiguities endemic to life; that we are always tested towards truth and illusion, real and not real, asked to honestly determine where we stand on reality and why.

Things that bias perception can definitely interfere with ones pure connection to God or Life.  Essentially for most spiritual knowing; God and God’s messengers are alive in awareness as the individual senses it. Faith and belief are in fundamental ways definitions of ones own ignorance, likely prodded on as a “good” by experts and others who make these untestable positions a kind of prerequisite for knowing a spiritual existence.  In this identity “trap”, conformity to authority is the stable state of recognition.

The connections to initial Cause, the Source of the universe of existence, when real, are not blinded in belief or relegated to a highly imperfect documentation recorded in language and times far distant in the past, nor their new breeds of conceptual contortionists. We are each real to Life, and in real life, are continuously asked what is real and what is not.

You are as real as I and as connected to Life’s beginning and end as I. We can be in error as to what we think of it though, and how we were programmned by family, community and culture.  From where will correction come?

Every moment we are all asked; Do you know Life? How inclusive is it?, Do you know lies and erroneous conclusion? Have you ever admitted this?, Do you know the power of Love? Have you seen love conquer fear? Do you know how these can all seem true; life, love and error appearing to be as one? Then what is my life and its inherent mission?

In this we all have a divine mission, for in a rational and ordered universe, it is we who fall short in knowing reality, and we who must answer for ourselves and correct perception for ourselves to return life to rational understandings and awareness of the miraculous order to Being. We are miracles living within a Miracle.

A rational existence means all things are in some manner understandable, even if understanding must be relegated to an awe of mystery beyond human comprehension.  Our human problems can be more than wished or hoped away, they can be solved by joining our perceptions.  We can also be forgiving and kind towards the targets of our anger and doubt if strong enough spiritually to know their power and authority.

It seems a very basic question is often not answered, perhaps not even known or owned up to; A rational universe will offer reason; information, understanding and the resolution of error. An irrational universe will be insane, following no coherent platform of objective rules nor reason.

The interpretive matrices will instead be constructed of ideas out of context, opinion called “truth”, and any manner of untestable hypothesis kept beyond the reach of peer reviewable reason.  These often hide behind arrogant confidence and attitude, “making up” for their inferior logic and reason.  This ontological and existential challenge, often buried between arguments of dubious opinion proliferated over epistemological cultural slanting.

To Deny Question By Indicting Reason Itself

Enter spiritual tampering and historical hiding, with its stealthy expected ignorance protected by an inherently lazy(unquestioning) faith held hostage by fear of question.  Now the turf containers of conservative orthodoxies are constructed, where conformity is essentially the name of the game–control Appearance Reality.

Mind control techniques are highly valued assets protected by fear and the individuals dependency upon those who claim to know.  A highly manipulative paradigm of perception naturally ensues, where priest and preacher tailor “revelation” to what they see fit for reasons they determine to make your own.  May all be for good intention, or…

“Truth” (as many a conservative platform claim to represent) is made up in ideology, to be based upon something other than objective scrutiny. Instead, a manufactured “truth” becomes a rationalized consensus reality molded into a self validating appearance reality. The universe of knowledge is now contained in an ideological prism, or prison, a closed loop of perception, and not the pure flow of being real to the consciousness of identity in reality.

Herein lies the fate of the faithful follower; that they are imersed unknowingly into the ways of ignorance and manipulation. The faithful are taught to remain there by fear of damnation manifest by the very attributes Life has installed for human beings to perceive truthfully. Falsity can proceed unchecked by unwavering contamination of information with inability to correct imposed doctrine and its attendant fear control mechanisms.

=But Smiles, Great Causes And Trusted Fellows!  I Want To Be Like Them!

That real Life truths are imersed in the manipulative paradigm is a given; we cannot live when denying all the truthful attributes of reality, be they in consciousness or the other environments.  Truth (God, Love) is always ruling whether I like it or not or believe it or not.  This is what I see.

Most conservative orthodoxies claim many of the positive attributes of Life to be of their ownership. That said; it is the always latent, and sometimes prominent, domains of fear that rule.  Love and connection are made subservient to pain oriented identity control mechanisms. This is a backwards way to contort, control and construct identity, while creating a great harbor for blame of others and difference.  Threats of shame and ostracism loom as external–internal threats to existence. Our minds are left under the weight of what we believe will happen to us; now, later or in afterlife.

And in the classic sense of apparent law seeming to empower law breaking; opportunism can become the weight we really juggle over our identities. We believe something is sanctioned, we believe it is right or wrong, we see what we can get away with, then suffer the internal walls built in our experience over right and wrong and how they are integrated.

Pretending becomes most powerful; deny or redefine wrongs into right, or opportunism into successful opportunities.  Now we posses energies of contradiction; of rationalization instead of reason, and any number of systems of interpretation exist to make the dissonance subside—for now.

Belief does not independently rule reality, no matter what I make up, what is real does.  Cherry picking things that place me into a better light, thanks to ideological posturing; this does not stop falseness from influencing my perception. However, not questioning my own take on information or my interpretation of my place in existence can well mandate erroneous viewpoint and opinion.

We Determine What Our Honest Being Is

Accepting a human interfered with flawed platform (the highly edited Bible) as unquestionable word of God, never having been edited by human intention, is itself a highly suspicious position to base ones identity on, unless the ability to ascertain real truth has been crippled somehow.

This is perhaps why so many kinds of conservatives or orthodoxy adherents have a kind of permanent confirmation bias inserted to control perception.  Often, they need but one seeming contradiction to invalidate questions of their own identity, while opposing or contravening viewpoints require disproof of all the conserved conceptions to prove valid.  A proposition that their identity is programed to never accept.

As it is; questioning and verification or ideas of truth for oneself is of paramount importance to increase the truthful nature of appearance and consensus realities operating in individual awareness, community and society.  We each do this work to hold perception accountable to objective overview, or it does not get done.  This may be assumed to be a Divine mission; real knowing and understanding, and not identity positions whose pieces fit to ideological purity.

Bible Altered to Serve The State 325 AD-

325AD Constantine alters Christianity to his hierarchical likings, banning self empowering teachings of Christ such as the Gospel of Thomas, a so called Gnostic Gospel–one who knows.

Gospel of Tomas may be older than Mathew, Mark, Luke and John.

All the Gospels are likely forgeries.  In those days, it was common for people to write in the name of someone who seemed an absolute authority.  What they felt was true was then tagged onto the impressive persona.  In a very relevant sense then, the Gnostic Gospels are on par with the so called Bible of Mathew mark Luke and John.  Those 4 were determined by Emperor Constantine to be suitable as the official religion of the State.

Since the Gnostic Gospels are in ways contradictory to the State version now known as “The Bible”, many Christian scholars excercise obvious confirmation bias toward what they have known as orthodoxy.  The classic invocation of Satanism, heresy or blasphemy usually serves to divert attention and create a fearful indictment towards objective investigation.

This name calling is the shaming invocation of a Thought-terminating cliché, when formed into a “buzz worded” bad thing to be.  Cults and most conservative groups are filled with these shaming survival threatening devises intended to stop thought and question.  Tricks of the mind control trade.

Interestingly, elements of the Gnostic self active view remain in the Bible, such as self empowering spiritual notions as; ‘and greater works shall you do’, or ‘The least among you is the greatest’. ‘Love your enemies’. ‘Turn the other cheek.’etc. These kinds of thoughts invoke the individual as an integral part of The Whole, even to the extent that ones own salvation is in being an agent of Love amidst context of lessening pain and despair in others.  The individual becomes Gods agent, while focusing attention upon those least able to care for themselves anywhere in society.

There was a power struggle going on in early Christianity; The orthodox Christian view of Church authority now sanctioning the State, and the spiritual people powered elements.

The Council of Nacea pruned Christianity to reject the notions that Church, and hence State, authority were not needed to know God and Jesus.  This put the Gnostic movement as a more underground faith being purged by the Church and The State.  The more mystic take on the teachings of Jesus were literally buried, and now will be condemned as false by conservatism’s knee-jerk paradigms.

Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet. It’s funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord – Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I feel sorry for our human imposed conceptions of heaven based on fantasizing from a book.  Just think of the orthodoxy viewpoint of only humans in heaven.  This means: No clothes in heaven.  Does light have a soul?  I guess no light.  No chairs in heaven, so you can not sit down.  Gravity?  Seems attached to matter, does matter have a soul?  Just floating in the black forever with no air or anything to conduct words. Um?  Isn’t that like vanishing forever into a hole in the ground? Seems one need not believe in heaven then to achieve that?

Oh haven’t you heard?  Faith is about believing.  We do not comprehend Gods mystery.

Then keep the only human souls in some vacuum pile in an alienated heaven to yourself.

I am amazed but not surprised over the immaturity so evident in much “evangelical” notions.  It is as if they were made up by a kid with too much time and imagination on their hands.

Hey.  I’m going to form a club where all kinds of magical stuff happens but you are not to have questions, only believe in the story.  Lets see how many we can fool into taking on an absurdity based upon future speculation, founded on nothing.  Wait!  Lets say it is from a book someone found that cannot be questioned.  That way no one can say we are wrong, yet we can surly say that they are.  Now you must only have faith and believe to think you are somehow granted the magical powers. See!  Then you are saved, while non believer are tortured.  Cool!  Wait.  That sounds just cruel.

We do not “go to heaven”.  You know heaven or you do not.  You know the connectivity of Life, or you only guess.  Heaven is where the heart is, or the heart is somewhere else.

A Great Denial: Organized Religion; The God Game; Turf Battles in Heaven

The objective and the subjective, fact and fantasy, can mix without accounting for in this conscious matrix known as my reality.

Most religions depend upon the individuals location to appear true; In the US we tend to be Christian, in Iran, Muslim, in India, Hindu or Buddhist.  Wherever you happen to be, you likely have heard of these other religions or beliefs, You know what they are about and are not buying it.  For some reason; wherever you are, you do not need to examine your beliefs tenets to the core, or compare them in any objective fashion to these other systems.  This subjective bias is a curious truth.

Why do you believe in God or not?  Most of us will never admit that we believe what our culture told us to.  We do not “admit  it” because it is like the nose on our face; right in front of us, a part of us, yet mostly seen only on reflection.  We are convinced by repetition, and more repetition, to reinforce our confirmation; that our concept of things is correct, for we seem to be operating from within them, everyone seems to be.

As for having a doubt about culture, what credentials does one individual have? After all, most “authoritative”experts will agree their culture is most relevant and good. By inference then, what do I know, me, I’m not an expert?  Not on the reason why our culture is the way it is.  We are in it, and likely not outside looking in with comparative information to question basic structures that form the bedrock to the whys that we do things the way we do here.  Most often we go with the flow, and have since birth.  This does create a potential endemic problem; an inability to question fundamentals. We are in an automatic pilot driven confirmation bias; we just are not presented with contrary or other information compared to our cultures dialectic.

This is a first step in manifestation of the Great Denial.  Denying legitimate questioning, by being instilled with a perception, by apparent place or situation; that certain legitimate questions are illegitimate, or else they would have rearranged culture to their truth.  We have an effective consensus reality that culture is true and valid, and an implied assumption that truth wins over lies and falsity.  We know many good and honest people, we might be one ourselves, insinuating that we are somehow or someway wrong, would seem to be wrong.  At least it would seem to instigate a disturbance that I might feel was not called for.  Some questions will have a way of appearing illegitimate. This should be cause for concern, instead of certainty.

This kind of nature, and, or nurture issue continues to the factors individuals use to compare and evaluate themselves and one another.  I decide the kind of hair style, or lack of, that represents me.  I may force myself to act in ways that seem to be not what I wish, conditioning myself to accept most of these “right ways” in time.  If I grew up under the old Egyptian Pharaoh culture, I would know I could only create the human image in a distorted form following an established formula—-for a millennium.  Likely, to break this taboo back then would have seemed wrong, and just as likely a threat for its apparently wrong reason.–Why are you challenging what is?  Why do you not respect what we do?  You are trouble.

But mostly, we do not acknowledge our bias of point of view, not honestly and fairly, and not with open and intelligent questioning characteristic of a healthy minds critical thinking ability. We may be unable to legitimately question important notions of the individuals appropriate behavior in culture, even though we have acknowledged that society must enforce some inhibitions on some behaviors for everyone’s own good.

We see many taboos as self evident to an intelligent person; I do not do some things I wish, for they would bring harm to me.  They might well bring harm to others, and so they are suppressed for their obvious inappropriateness.  Society, me included, wish not to permit much harmful behavior, particularly when directed at others.  If I feel rage, it is not OK to just go and physically harm those I might emotionally wish to.

Culture, or society, or peer pressure, forms aspects of my will into its own image, and at times for good reason.–Some freedom and liberty is not good for the whole of society which I am a part of, but just as with the Pharaoh’s not allowing true human form to be represented; we may not know the truth as to why society is suppressing something that to us seems both real and not harmful.  The converse can be true as well; I can consider taxes an evil; someone taking the opportunity to take my will away:  I cannot do what I want with my money.

{The tax issues always deserve critical analysis.  I am not endorsing pork projects and the like as being in the common interest.  Here I am examining tax as an extension of the public will, and where the individuals will and responsibilities interact with societies.  So I am for constructive critical analysis of societies institutions.}

This detached abstraction of money, and specifically “my” money, does not consider all the interrelated aspects that the concept of money exist in.  Though I may need one more dollar to buy a meal, that meal comes across roads, I expect it will be wholesome and not harmful. When demanding a meal by intending to consume a meal, I enter into the interrelationships that create that meal; the corporations, the farmers, the middle-people and meal makers.  This too is connected to “my” money, and yet to deny these relationships I need only alienate myself from the connection and consider it instead an imposition.

Tax that went into the roads, the employment, the agricultural interest, the other relationships connected to societies healthy functioning, for some, this is now an evil imposition; they taking form you.  Why are the interest of the whole of life being rendered irrelevant to the subjective truncated notion of “my” interest? The they of government in democracy is actually you and I through representation.  The they in business, who take my money for their product or service, pass on their cost, their profit, and their tax to me.  Yet in a fundamental way, aside from not engaging them, I have virtually no say.  It is pay or don’t play.  Or pay or do not receive health care, or…  Both of these societal entities take my money, yet I am to consider the one I actually vote on as not being the one with my interest?  Clever denial and diversion.

{As an example of all the libertarian like proclamations of getting rid of imposed taxes for many instances, through Democratic and Republican administrations alike, the tax burden has been being shifted over recent decades; from the wealthy, who among other things; use, abuse, and manipulate The Commons many times over the common folk, to the common folk, who suffer the consequence and pick up more of the tab.  That— taking what I earned abstraction ruse, away from responsibilities and accountability, to the religion of detached individualism.  Again.  A clever denial and turf battle played out at public expense, but not owned up to.}

I believe that throughout history, some people have learned how to manipulate others for their own benefit.  To cover this usage of The Commons, scapegoats and whipping boys must be targeted. Particularly in democracies, attention must be taken away from source causes, and have those felt individual injuries manifesting from exploitation of The Commons be targeted essentially onto those who have not much power.  The equative power of democracy needs to be divided and conquered for the usual societal manipulators to proceed without much blow-back from common awareness.

Critical thinking must be dismantled and its alleged incarnation handed over to various amalgamations of belief and faith, where true reality checking is impaired or even considered evil.  There are ready and willing ideologies that promote these diversions of attention and corralling of the will, particularly of its common interest, instead promoting a myopic focus upon the self and its travails, where the whole of Life then becomes its challenge and proving ground.

Here is a kind of Great Denial; where self centeredness is considered both holy cause of redemption and self consuming.  Then this alienated, or separated/detached self, can be sold all manner of explanation as to how the non powerful are actually imposing their failed wills upon the righteously willful.  Notice how much conservatism is actually about preserving the institutions of the conservative haves, and subjugating all the rest that be to second class citizenship or worse.  Us and them become operational truths seeming to be established reality and verified by belief.

We tend to judge others and other cultures by our own values, and tend to feel ours are the true, right, or the only legitimate ones.  This is how “The Other”, a kind of unknown, and so inherently threatening characterization, falls upon many of our fellow humans.  Dropped on them by me.  Covered in this veil of judgement, a kind of ignorance is both instituted, and in effect, worshiped as true, even for some, as God mandated.

All humans, unless perfectly honest, forthright and fair, do this interpersonal condemnation, and at times, even dump it upon themselves by the same standards.  A culture, however, is somewhat like a meal.  We may bite into it and survive for awhile, but we do not necessarily like what we chew, and it is not necessarily fully wholesome.  We may go through life in a kind of starving for self realization state, and be kept there by the powers that be, who may have found a way to use our stress to their advantage.

We may think we are free to know whatever needs be known. For a culture to be self correcting, it would need some way of verifying truthfulness.  Mostly we trust that the true, or accurate information will come to us somehow in a Democracy with a free press.  Yet even that is a broad and foolish assumption.  Do we know how free the press is? as in the information in it and why what is there is there and other information not?  Can we be certain that our votes are even counted correctly and fairly?  Are you sure?  To make such cognitive dissonance unimportant, we must camouflage or otherwise deny relevance.—Who cares what the human shape allowed to be drawn is anyway? Troublemakers?

But does anythings existence as a human concept mandate its continuance, rendering questioning existentially irrelevant? In an objective and open observation point of view, the liberal notion of cultural relativity is valid only to certain degrees operationally.  Fortunately, to be an honest agent in determining this cultural validity factor that I presume, requires a completely honest and understanding mind, and most of us can be quite confident that we are not the ones to pass fair and just judgement, that is if we look and acknowledge when our confident judgments have been found wrong.  We can, however, render comparative facts from professed belief as legitimate questions of true context.

We allow ourselves sound fundamental questioning, or deny what may well be each of our God (or Life) given right to think for ourselves and so live a life of true merit, instead of imitation merit by external fear based perception.  To not so define truthfulness for oneself, is to live a life of unexamined robotic belief, as if following in the footsteps of the cause of some lemmings deaths, where huge numbers can plunge off a cliff to drown. Why? Cause the herd was pressing them over the precipice unknowingly; a movements assumption.  For humans, belief in truth can be, in result, seemingly suicidal, for not much reason other than acting from our ignorance instead of the better angels of understanding.  This is the trouble with thinking we already know the answer in a living and vibrant context of existence that is in fundamental ways One Thing.

Understanding is the result of knowing context extends, yet knowing requires freedom, not just to question, but to assume freedom to question without that questioning being cast as illegitimate.  In most religion and politics, for instance, this freedom to question is not only discouraged, except where advantageous for belief reinforcement, but often assumed to be the tool of evil; or that which seeks to destroy our view of an institution.  I say that, for real Truth, true reality, is never actually destroyed or erased, but our opinions and beliefs about it can be.  We fear change of basic perceptual parameters, for they may cast doubt upon ones cosmological assumption, or spiritual ones.–The true human forms shape exist in reality no matter how much authority says it is either wrong, or offensive to society to “allow”.

How many of us could handle all we know being found out to be wrong?  We mostly avoid this perception from our lives, we wish to live our own life right, for perturbing basic logical conceptual assumptions can be emotionally unsettling.  Culture supplies many ways to do this avoidance of truth checking, mostly by shaming questions, or otherwise define them as illegitimate.  Most conservative movements are for damming critical thought understanding, and insisting that only their own way or view is the true one. These usually try to make their own belief constructs appear as the only legitimate ones.  Questioning with a free and independent spirit is deemed offensive, or dysfunctionally eccentric.

Even communist movements that scorned religion, seek to establish their own kinds of religious like icons, and define fundamental questions as inherently illegitimate or falsely motivated.   We would not know this as true without truthful examination of context.  The words and proclamations can be what one claims them to be, but when the reason as to why the image is cannot be legitimately questioned is not allowed consciously in public without shame; someone is seeking to make unquestionable imagery.  In effect, telling us that religion is the opiate of the masses, as they create their own opiates for the masses.  Shame, blame, denial; claims of heresy and other means of purging questions; these all indicate kinds of manipulation control, not by understanding and its light, but by emotional prejudice and its reliance on darkness–unexamined areas held in confinement.

For all intents and purposes, the battle in heaven is carried out within our own minds, even though the causes fought for may have much outside influence and strategy.  Unfortunate for us, these institutions that claim dominance and preeminence have their own self perpetuating forces operating to contain us, not unlike any viral influence.  Ideas carry out their own potential pathology; expressing into form elements of their presence.  Unless you and I are able and willing to be the cure to the providers of false reality, it will perpetuate itself even as claiming to be the one and the only cure to trouble.

Why if only I did not question, all would be peaceful, so questions are the problem. Can’t you just see that clearly!

Ah! the peaceful bliss of the silent, and, or ignorant mind.

This is the circular reasoning paradigm many institutions insist upon to continue as is unabated by the influence of now.  Blank minds are minds that stand not in ones way.  They do not, however, stand for the way of whole truth or light either.  Blind following is not the meritorious virtue it is often presented as.  Nothing advances in its real presence if it is not allowed to change with the times.  This change seems to be the nature of Life itself; conserving what is true and real while always allowing new expression to fill into new space.  Most ideology does not allow this dynamic truthful connection to Life.  It is then suspect as an element of ignorance, even if shrouded in enlightenment’s garb.

Ignoring Shades of Deception; Ignoring The Whole

Our modern world’s corporate narrative is often taken in as Gospel; although the earths ecosystems may be reeling from pollution, resultant of materialism, environmental exploitation and overpopulation; if gas is cheep, car manufactures, along with oil companies, promote gas guzzling vehicles for their good, and not The Wholes.  This is a natural byproduct of corporatism as an ideological bias;  just as religious or political movements, it will use apparent stress to benefit itself.   They wish us then to covet the larger, safer, faster, bigger vehicle; that is the spun slant for our reality framing to consider.  Questioning the context of its existence however, becomes forbidden.  To make things seem forbidden, shame and ostracism must be tagged to their holding.

Its need in your life is then promoted as an objective of desire, a truth for me, driving the consumption and materialist dependency loop.–Why are you against business succeeding or free choice? = Blamed for questioning whole context as being of any relevance.  Now see how many of these kinds of Thought-terminating cliché’s the conservative movements possess.  The political/economic/ and many religious ones are packed with them, to stop you from thinking objectively.

Corporatism has become a kind of materialistic religion, claiming to make all things right for the individual—if they can pay.  Our culture is full of good advice in this materialistic regard; ones love becomes seemingly connected across it.  I can advice you with all sincerity, to buy the monster truck that is built like a tank and guzzles gas; not because I wish to see how fast the earth can be consumed and laid waste, but to desire for your own safety.  What is wrong with that? Perhaps nothing as long as questioning is denied one way or another.

In this way, subjective context are claimed paramount, as would fit a one for everybody consumer driven expansionist culture living in a cancerous paradigm and denying the consequences. A holistic or inclusive view taking in the rest of the connecting context is not helpful to consumerism as an operational identity in consciousness.  Who in business wants everyone second and more guessing or questioning what is for sale?  Not the sellers!

And so objective reality is subjugated to subjective narrative’s of the quest for the good self actualized life.  Shame those who would suggest otherwise.  In this pursuit; many greedy narratives can be designed and anchored/tagged to the kinds of people who caution us about abusing the environment (implying consequence beyond sale price).  It then becomes about directing questioning away from the objective, and instead, to the subjective, where little proof need be presented.

For some reason, possibly consciously known by leaders, true objectivity must be shamed and blamed, thus becoming not the kind of thing to identify oneself with. — Heaven conquered from within.  If you wonder how so many conservatives can believe in so many outrageous and often contradictory ideas and allegations? They need not consider actual reality, but stay focused in their ideological sight, which is willing to see and believe all manner of insanity, as honest fact–true cause need not be checked by including contra questioning.  They become trapped in their own world of logical association unattached to objective critical analysis.  Confirmation bias may be an organic aspect of conservative myopia.

To test this out; watch the unsubstantiated fact associations chained together on any of the main conservative propaganda platforms.  Attitude and innuendo truly are intended to lead perception to places not requiring objective examination.  And a big YES; we all have what are called conservative and liberal tendencies, just do not acknowledge them if they seem not aligned with our take on things.

It, subjective reality mind framing in a business, does not have to consider the whole when corporate bottom lines are the business models deciding factor.  We, as subjects of and to corporatism, will tend to go along with its narrative, and not question its sanity, nor its pathological and suicidal tendency.  We will draw the given but not acknowledged distortion as the truth, not questioning its own actual motivation, nor its problematic consequence.  Most of us succumbed to external controls this lazy way; by never questioning our context, pretending to be unattached to consequence.  The Great Denial in action.  (Our country has been conducting itself as if business interest are the leading ones, and the individuals a distant second to last place.  This is why I call it corporatism.)

This denial can be operating within us as true and relevant to our survival, as those biases of our political and religious presumed choice, but actually often handed down to us by a seeming  situational  imperative.  The best place for darkness to govern?–right out in the light, appearing to be the same as knowledge.  Those following various forms of darkness (embedded ignorance) will know this, and seek the same out in others to use to their own benefit, no matter how delusional that benefit actually is.

You must decide if political or religious robes are true garments, or those of deception and denial, for if they deny thorough questioning, they likely are the latter.  Your ability to ask fundamental questions will help expose the legitimacy of institution, or their disease.  One thing is certain, deception will come wearing the garments of friendship, love, good advice and care, it must do this to commandeer identity, then anchor it somewhat invisibly to fear.

To Question is The Answer

To not fear question is the answer to perceptual and other problems in cognition; but who holds the key to opening true realities doorway of perception?  This battle in heaven will decide for you which side wins.  Consciousness, that area in which we operationally perceive our world, is under pressure to surrender, to align with the outside and inside realities; either it surrenders to reality and wins, or it surrenders to an ideology and is taken hostage.  It is in our unabashed ability to question where this truth will play out.

The decision favors who or what is actually in control of ones soul; is it rightly ones own spirit connected to the All of Life, or in some definitions to God; or is it ideas and or books given to us that claim to represent the all knowing wisdom of Being that happen to require experts to tell us what things really mean?

You are the warrior in this battle over heaven.  You decide if you stand for light and understanding; or exclusion and seemingly endless explanation, making you a kind of servant to someone else’s thoughts and alleged expertise.  This awareness is achieved by questioning, as the mind was intended as a guide to truth.  For love and belonging to Life to be true, it is necessary to care for the unknown as well as the known.

This is truths dictate; questions must be asked for deeper understanding to be held. Anyone or anything trying to prevent critical thinking out in the objective open, unhindered by bias or presumption, is trying to prevent Light from illuminating.  That example will be most telling, despite the likely denial.

The denial is great; yet reality is always greater, for what is real exist on its own terms and not ours.  To align with It, I must surrender my own illusion, to win what is my true life.  To this ultimately most simple of task; most natural of pursuits; love is the answer.  But don’t believe me; your love is your answer.

True love (for you, or for and of God) is never afraid of question.

Apocalypse Whenever : The Armageddon Spirit of Destruction

I mean to say;  Armageddon Whenever, but am playing off the idea of Apocalypse Now, the book and movie title.

The eventual end of the world, recognized by science as likely induced by the evolution of our sun, seems not the one many Abrahamic religious folks seem sure in breathing fire and brimstone down our necks, seemingly, since the idea was conceived.  That apocalypse conception, itself, has evolved over the ages; from seemingly a valley back in the Biblical era sounding somewhat like Armageddon, to the whole planet now in some others interpretation of Biblical era.

It seems that the apocalypse whenever people, see we humans problematic relationship issues as the reason for God delivering an apocalypse right around the present day corner.  The threats to the planet from pollution and other societal and environmental ignorance (or arrogance) are not what they mean.  They look for what one might conceive as God-like signs, what we define as nature based (God) threats to humanity. Every earthquake, drought, or other relative moment earth anomaly, becomes the signs of destruction.  They are looking for a promised punishment of a sorts, and using that fear of ultimate consequence, as a motive to be pure about spiritual matters.  Not necessarily actually pure, but pure as described by some leaders of church, and their moral values worth ideologies.  The projected spiritual groups emotionalized Zeitgeist.

At the change of millennium date at the year of 2000 (then 2001 in some minds, then usually some right up and coming next date), God was apparently set on getting even with the sinners or otherwise unfaithful. You just wait and see; may be the outward warning to apparent nonbelievers.  To believers, the publicity they generate towards humankind is meant to change behavior by suggesting immanent threat of enduring pain and deprivation, if you do not conform.  This is a negative based ideology; I am not to change my behavior because I am actually wiser, or actually enlightened as to the nature of my actions, I am changing because otherwise I will be tortured and tormented, perhaps forever.  Primitive defense mechanisms.

Gods breaking point comes when this final line is drawn on human sand; God will not show love for me nicely if I displease God; behavior equals punishment now or later, for it seems no excuse or explanation will be relevant.  God seems in a mechanical dialectic of punishment, or love, but we seem to conclude this will be balanced out in the future, the very near future, but soon now or maybe after my death.  Either way, it is stretched out ahead in our minds. We do not seemingly notice or believe that our good or bad behaviors are instantly judged, in effect, by ourselves.

Why if I wear a mask and rob you, you have lost and I have gained.  Only some theoretical God stands in possible judgement.  At least this is about as far as some thieves may think.  It seems straight forward in material appearance. We seem to believe it is true that others surly do seem to be “getting away” with something, be it trespass, murder or exploitation. So if the Universe is good or just, things will be balanced, if not now, then surely later.  And so a future time of reckoning is imagined, Bible true or not, for we are the ones imagining what it will be by our own sense of definition.

This open-ended threat does produce an extended circular reasoning merely based on continued existence—the end is always near, year, after year, after year, after year, after decade, after millennial. And we each eventually realize our death, even if illness and aging are “solved”, will likely reach us one day, a seeming day of reckoning. It does not matter about the facts on the real ground, we have evolved into a mental issue issuing from continuing problematic human relationship issues. The permanent apocalypse is when?  —-Ever right next to now.

The “facts” will seem obvious to the ideological presumption, and so the religions believing in a global day of reckoning, believing the Bible called this a truth, never fully consider the very old origins of their own religious ideas.  Their beliefs are strung out on the impressions and assumptions of the present day:  That their own religion evolved out of preexisting ideas; pagan, including pantheistic which can include their own monotheistic traditions of a Prime Spirit or Mover, must be ignored or explained away.

If I declare I am following the one and only God, the fully omniscient One, then by association, I am on the side of right and Truth—–in my mind as defined by others.  Something Absolute is granting me a kind of absolute authority, in my mind.  When ordained in public, so sure of the infallibility behind me; Do I question the roots of my religion and how they have been pruned?  Do I see the human intervention in the Gospels deleted and those accepted, that bent spiritual iconography a certain way to support hierarchy over refined states of consciousness?  Do I care or care more of believing what I believe cannot be wrong?

To think you know the Truth, does seem to involve one excluding many other different conceptions of knowing.  Perhaps perception must be narrowed, because ambiguity and varying nuance do not suit the absolutest ideological clarity that these kinds of conservative orthodoxies require to “know”, or imagine they know, what they are talking about.  Delusion, illusion and even mistakes, can seem completely real, as real as you and I ourselves.  Lacking permission to question ourselves to the core, may mean we are refusing to know who we are and what Life around us really is.  That we are living in exclusion ideology is an absolute certainty.

To accept the apocalypse whenever mentality, is likely to accept a resigned completion of the self; I am committed to knowing the end for all is near, so I surrender to what I a told, yes, what I am told, God is.  All I know is that God is Perfect and I am on Gods side, so God should favor me. I do not need to strive for earthy achievements any longer, really.  This circular reasoning would likely produce a kind of release from the problematic vice grip so many of us perceived humankind is being continually held in.—I can be self assured of my cosmological place in a spiritual life.  You guys go ahead with all those evil narcissistic ways you have, I’m going to be good; according to the ideological matrix being manufactured from fellow believers around a group defined idea of “saved” consciousness.  Exclusion from the vice grip of eternal damnation? Absolute surrender to the conceptualized ideology; as I imagine it.

Come the apocalypse, I will be spared, for I am supporting the Perfect One we have all agreed upon, with supporting Biblical reference, while the rest of you will get what you have coming.  I wish you did not, I love and feel for you, but l, and a small number of others will actually be saved. As one apocalypse whenever person put it; ‘I am supposed to pray for peace, the Bible tells me to.  But I do not believe it may do any good with the end being near.’ God Loves us, Loves you too, but you rejected it. What can I say? One way we see it, an unspoken way that is, is God terrorizing you and I, the sinners, with everlasting damnation, a pain or pleasure reaction narrative as primitive as bacteria motive.  Sorry.  I do not wright the rules.   Heaven is not a democracy.

What these people, who feel they are true believers do not know, and do not try to know what they really know, is that the cultural paradigm being created in their own consciousness is floating on a planet spun of ideas.  For instance; they are not checking why the Bible was censored of its self empowering Gospels about a millennium ago, by those who would rather have hierarchical notions dominate in culture.  Any deep questions as to the fundamental construction of the holy book and books deemed relevant, are pre–condemned by a long history of rationalization.  One thing conservative orthodoxies always have as a wedge against their own followers knowing their own thoughts; questioning the orthodoxy is itself seen as the work of evil.  Problem, for many, solved.

But if God, or Creation, is naturally intrinsic to the self, the relationship to this Prime Self would likely, in my view, be immediate.  Evangelicals and many other religious folks, seem to have many contradictory issues about how involved God is in their own thinking, or how simply belief based this God is.  How big God is; as in, is God a part of everything, or is God just a “Spiritual Being” a metaphysical Entity that is in someway involved in our lives, then come death, draws a line to determine if you knew the right stuff and acted accordingly.

That this Spiritual Entity then seems to pronounce that you are suitable for eternal damnation, would seem to be true for my mentioned “unknowings” of our fellow humans.  Interesting indeed.  Not that it determines God is a megalomaniac dictator that flourished on seeing Its creatures tormented eternally by God.  This actually says a whole lot about the kinds of minds that would be following such a disturbed Being.  Being that this vengeful God seems to have about the same philosophical/emotional imperatives as a psychopathic criminal.  Not the followers problem?

Were you following the right One God?  Were you an honest person, or do you have a few questions about a couple moments in your life, especially how you felt about it then, or of an-others life?  How will this penultimate lie detector test play out?  We do not seem to ask ourselves of the arbitrariness of much of this; like I got an extreme-unction just in the nick of time; or at the last moment I was sorry and asked for forgiveness; or, If only I knew this was really true I would have acted differently—–kinda the no atheist in foxholes implication.  This negative referenced God will reproduce negative assumption into followers consciousness; because the Universe is ultimately rational—-behavior, as action, occurs for reason.  Consciousness is self sufficient in perception; it tends to see what it believes in.  This may be a means to discovery, but not a guarantee of Truth.

And here is why; after the dust of disaster has settled; when the rains return; when survival is again insured, what insured it in this dangerous interim was; Love.  It is so simple, it can be missed like the nose on my face.  It can be ignored like the earth under my feet. It can seem invisible, like the air my car breathes into, or my fingers pass through while typing this to you, but we discover, often to our own humbled humiliation and then bliss; that are ego’s were blocking Loves Light all along.  This is why I insisted it was not there.

To love unconditionally, is to know Love.   To be true to knowing my love is aligned with Love, is the human challenge.  Here is where soul and Spirit are known as One, or imagined.  The proof of this is not in my beliefs, but in my awareness of Love’s domain.

Freedom’s Delusion of Grandeur: Plight of The Ego’s Identity

Politics, religion and economics often allude to freedom, or the free will. Western societies tend to oppose restrictions on freedom, but only a highly conditional freedom, where usually the conceptual parameters of the freedom being considered are rendered a plus or a minus depending on ones circumstances.

When I was a child, I was often in charge of burning up huge leaf piles in our front yard.  I really enjoyed the responsibility; trying to keep safety my number one priority while getting the job done.  Yet these days I would be arrested or cited, and perhaps rightly so, for air pollution. Burning down my neighbors house, or myself, is considered not worth the risk of individual freedom–where others become held accountable for my own actions, by state and municipal interest.  This means the representation of The Commons finds the behavior unacceptable, and I agree.  One “freedom” bites the dust, or goes into the compost bin.

But then if I am not so understanding of my extenuating responsibilities and accountability’s to The Commons; WELL, how dare you tell me what to do, you and your government designed to restrict my freedom (by obvious restrictions on behavior).  Shame and blame on you all! It is so easy not to see the connectivity to my actions when that connectivity seems to make me do things not seeming to represent my instant gratification, or quick solution to a problem I have encountered.  And that is a kind of rub; for we would rather just do what we will in Western cultures, and rather not know of what greater impact my actions and inaction’s may have on The Commons.  In fact; try to get rid of this The Commons idea, except in abstractions, where I am seemingly left to my relative opinion in these matters.

-What Connects Freedom

We all seem to have faith in our words, like freedom; that they actually mean something.  We are free to express ourselves, usually, maybe not at times in church or at work, and maybe not to strangers is certain ways. We are told democracy and free choice make us free, including freedom of speech, but we find these have conditions, usually implied and out of sight, like not calling out fire in a crowded theater just for fun. But society decides to deprive some of freedom to vote, even though we claim to have the freedom to vote, or the right, because it believes those deprived do not deserve to vote for one reason or another, often a  punishment.  Again, Freedom, with all its pride and long history of sacrifice, rendered conditional.

We are not free at times, though if asked we would claim to be, overall.  We can be led to assume freedom means certain things and not others, while others can assume freedom does mean those other things.  Freedom is an abstraction; it declares a positive amidst an assumed negative; I claim to be free from something. That something, can very wildly by the minds of those considering what freedom means—-in context and to them.

Now context is another matter, we declare reality is pinned in by certain parameters of consideration. Much political “proof” uses these parameters to spin conception my way, or else someones I disagree with.  We can restrict or expand context by our own intention.  Sure it will rain at my house, absolutely.  But rain today?  That diagnosis is much more specific and restricted. I am no longer free to assume forever, just today.  The context of if and rain has changed.  In my view, many ideas are manipulated in these ways to suit the ideological preference.   Ideology, usually seeks to reproduce itself, and stand alone as truth for those who will buy or not question the explanation.  In that trick; emotion can present “facts” in ad hominem “proof”, when attitude leads the logic’s connective dialectic.

Usually we are not free to make up all of our own words, except with a known context exception, but changing the context around a word can make it seem to be something more specific that I mean.  I want to be free from your meddling in my affairs! Or; I wish I were free from this caste on my leg! Or; I intend to be free from money worries. Freedom becomes the sought after release from stress in the abstract.

Like the air, words belong to a collective, a common thing.  This common thing is sometimes called The Commons.  Most all things in life are derived from commonalities, or communally possessed givens; poems from existing words; inventions from existing ideas, most of my or your genes from humanities gene pool. We are free to ignore our common ground to our peril.  The Commons is effectively the Super Context—my breath is taken in from our common air. Ignore the air or ignore the language, and you will find yourself in dire straights.

I can be mad at anyone who calls these in common things “collective”, if I have one of the anti universal ideologies inserted into my conceptual programing.  If collective or commons has been turned into a socialist or communist ideological tag, just mentioning it can become a Thought-terminating cliché for me. It then is a bias to me, to hear such things called collective; why, you have yours and I have mine.  If I bias to the subjective end of consideration, my ego can better identify reality as being mine—my possession, my God, my stuff, my whatever.  I may have then shrugged off awareness of the collective aspect, The Commons.  If so, I may never give it another thought, and wish others would never bring it up.  My big truck is polluting your air?  Mind your own freak’en business! And so The Commons becomes denied or derided. And I assume I know ‘the kind of people’ who mention collective or commons.

But now, with my subjective identity, if someone comes along and says to me that taxes are taking my money and giving it freely to those who do not deserve help?  The Commons can be quick led into a kind of inferred obvious negative weight.  One that I can then assume I feel, cause I, and most of us, could use more money for something.  If I have clean air, I posses it as far as I am concerned at my house, why should I care if someone else does or does not?  Let them buy their own air filter.

Yet The Commons is effectively The Universe; it is a unity.  If I declare unities not relevant to my thoughts, my thoughts do not actually have the power to exclude the real Universe, but to instead be ignorant about it.  My denial of connection still caries consequence, so then its resulting problems or perception and cognition will be assigned to some imaginary cause.  Perhaps a religious or political one. Oh lets say; You people.

Environments are this way, and society is even this way, and yet by focusing on my background’s rules and expectations, I can be excluding others just as valid, or just a truthful.  I render their image less worthy than mine.  Heck; if I had to buy an air filtration system, why don’t they just get responsible and do the same.  The problem with those people is that they are lazy and want government to do everything for them! This kind of stance boldly ignores that some may not be able to buy one.  Then what is my responsibility to this commonality; what do I care?  The answer is telling to levels of detachment to identity to The Commons, by those led to believe they are somehow outside of it.   Or that it takes care of itself, and does not depend in any way upon me.

-Cutting Up Identity——-The Trouble With You People

We seem stuck with individuals thinking as they will, and so seeming to be free to do good or ill. We see in our world today, that God so often stands in as a kind of abstract idol.  Allegedly monotheistic religions claim their subjective experience of religious narrative as absolute truth. Then, others, with their one God, are false, for this one God could not be so different in human impact and behavior.  These others, with their alien God, become strangers with behavior to reject as not being true.  They become The Other, others who are so different we need not attempt full understanding of the legitimacy of their ways.

This is how much conservatism reacts to inwardly contain followers identity, to shelter it in ideology, and effectively, arrogance or indifference toward others not of their group.  Their religion might say respect all, but rationalizations say the others do not deserve respect unless they become us, otherwise, they seem to represent the bad unknown and undesirable otherness we are attempting to eradicate.  This seems to institute the inevitable conservative turf battles with others as they compete over resource; human and material.

Again in this, The Commons, the generic like unity of all things in existence, is effectively bypassed for what I know and am told to respect or to not respect.  Freedom is again highly conditioned; I am free to believe what I am told by those claiming a-prior awareness of absolute truth, or I am free to digress and go my own way, outside the group paradigm, and into a place seemingly alien to it.  For instance; who says that pantheism is not a kind of One God, only revealed specifically into all things?  —The dictionary? Monotheist? Atheist?

Monotheist will see the danger; the pagan past seems hard to detect if God is in everything, so make Creation seem somehow independent from God; God created it and left it for us, or God no longer wants anything to do with it. However this does leave me and my life’s concerns, so tied into that Creation, as perhaps of no concern to The Creator,  unless I selectively see ways to make God interested in what I am doing here.  But I will thank God for my new car or for helping my sick child, because I do not really know exactly how the Universe is working and how involved God is with my life and its hopes, dreams and realities.

In reality, we find that may monotheist will look upon Creation as delivering signs from God.  The prayed for rain; the prayed for child; the prayed for death of one suffering terminally; the prayed for defeat of a foe; the hoped for outcome. We can very much believe God is involved with the minutia of our lives.  We seem to want God to be so involved; to manipulate The Creations Commons to my own needs and desire.  If I pray for rain, and the neighbor, just as wholesome, prays for dryness to bring in the hay, do I really expect it will be raining at my house and dry at my neighbors?  For many, the answer by default is, Yes.

God will answer the righteous prayers.  But why should God reward me for following orders to achieve desired results? This seems not a freedom of choice, but a barter system of reward and punishment.  Where is the spiritual merit in that?  Yet for all too many, the important thing is actually not to question beliefs, it is to not have questions, rather to act in rote conformity and be rewarded now or later for not engaging my own critical thinking to freely make my own choices.

Travel around this world we live in, and beliefs such as these are scattered everywhere; trust authority concepts and do not think about them, except in ways to validate them.  Again, these conserved notions are much of what human conflict is about; the inability to be present in the present moment with all or faculties available to address Creation as it is.  We are instead, busy forcing our ideas upon it, claiming they are some absolute truth, so reality must in some other way be wrong.  And so come the many varied forms of rationalization, to explain away Gods motives as unquestionably pure, or those of others as unknowable except in the negative of their strangeness, or otherness.

Most human identity is derived from conditioning by whatever hereditary platform I have.  If I am a woman, well in many cultures, the idea of freedom was seldom meant for me.  I am free to be me, obviously, but only so long as I follow the cultural programing.  The Commons, as far as culture is concerned, is saying my role is restricted to certain definite parameters, while men may not be.  Even in the USA, where we claim all kinds of freedom, I can just assume, as commercials do again these days, that the woman can afford to be at home and cleaning the floors while the man is out working, or…

In the name of Freedom, as in the name of God; all manner of perversion and good works are done, while the holistic impacts of our beliefs are ignored or assumed the credit of God.  Yet those who are too other than our currently accepted beliefs, are most likely bizarre and discounted, except in the negative, as an influence in our worlds.  Subjective arrogance, the allusion of abstraction, the mind games of idea manipulation from abstraction to subjective narrative, all these are combining everyday with our and others ignorance to produce many of the “complex” conflict conundrums hounding humankind.  This remains problematic and persistent, as we are led to allow others to do the thinking for us.

My Freedom ignoring Connection will likely lead to extinction; F-C=E.  This is one formula, where I am one of the ingredients, as are you.

I believe this prayer day began in the 1952. It would have never been put forward by the Founding Fathers, not as a presidential position. The Founders were mainly Deist (perhaps more like Obama in religious-spiritual perspective), and not much like the religious right. The Founders may have known enough to keep government out of religion and religion out of government, but since our nations inception, less wise and more opportunistic interest have tried to hijack the national “true” spiritual position, as one of their own kind.

But you non Judeo-Christians and atheist can do your wrong things, just wont get a day for them. Well, go ahead and pray or whatever you do today too. See. Free and equal even if wrong.

The dogs may be new, but the tricks of creating an image for appearance reality that will morph into a consensus reality, are as old as humankind itself.

For a real day of prayer; one can pray for this nation, and all nations, each and every day. Being real does not require some stunt to be, unless that is, your beliefs are a stunt.
