While watching this video, I wondered how soon this technology would spread. Two years? 5 ? Some of the things are relatively inexpensive.

Then the thoughts jumped to robotics. A remote viewer could now intelligently direct a robot as if she or he were there. The robotic agent could just look at something, triggering databases to diagnose the environment.  Maybe save somewhere form a nuclear meltdown, or one mans terrorist or freedom fighter can send an almost indestructible agent out to do harm.  Star Wars may quickly metastasize to terra terror.

Glenn Becks Issues With Integrity, Or Is It Sanity?

The Glenn Beck Saga: An Excercise In Mind Games and Mind Frames

The white boxed link below these paragraphs, will get you to Jon Stewart’s Daily Shows Glenn Beck style imitation. Stewart portrays the demagogues(*) rationalization techniques that “determines” Beck’s unchecked Appearance Reality substance, or more correctly, lack of substance. As on most Fox faux news/opinion shows; a Consensus Reality is then pandered to that confirms the likely audiences Confirmation Bias. The mysterious, (Wow! Now obvious!) “truth” then emerges, truth that is really often fabricated association blended and blurred into incomplete context.  This method depends on crippled critical thinking abilities in the target audience.  Fodder for cult-like mind manipulation strategies.

{FYI : I was in a Christian based religious cult long decades ago. Those who exit schemes that pander to conformity of thought and perception, can become extra sensitive to noticing mind control techniques rampant throughout the general population. Ex..—-’You must trust us. They have weapons of mass destruction.’}

Jon Stewart mimics the exact leading ad-hominem argumentation and false premise associations characteristic of the modern “Lonesome Rhodes“. Lonesome Rhodes (actor Andy Griffith below) in the movie A Face In The Crowd, portrays a very similar shill for the oligarchy; otherwise known as the powers behind the scenes that use the public pulpits to create misinformation, fear, paranoia, and thus attempt to direct public perception, will, and policy interest. In Democracy, cognition is manipulated through the lens of perception and identity tagging to tailor the public perception to in fundamental ways match the power structures.

And so those fighting, lets say fascism; some well-meaning people who may think they are, are actually following figures who use what fascism used to corral and contain significant aspects of the population to fulfill its designs.  The power and apparent glory of ignorance.

The video of Glenn Beck in the hospital many months ago, is juxtaposed to his more recent change of heart on the health care system and debate.  When opportunism calls—

FYI In general, opinion is involved in affirming Confirmation Bias, where rationalization and loaded context are the given “proof”.  This is an opinion piece of mine.

Tennessee Rock Slide Video Nov 2009

(Video below at Live Leak has no leading-in commercials.)

It is believed that the rains from ex hurricane/tropical storm Ida helped to trigger this rock slide that closed this road in Tennessee.  Otherwise, the road cut likely created a problematic issue with the angle of the material in the rock face.

The word is that an earlier small rock slide brought the attention to this spot.  In case you wondered.
