Quinter Kansas tornado on tape,- Greensburg KS under storm now!

This is a post from May of 2008

Post date; 5-21-08,8:22pm,ct

Greensburg OK hit by F-5 last year, has another F-5 heading towards it. It is currently losing some of its organization, hooking less right, perhaps to be a less devastating tornado going to the north of Greensburg.

Reintensifying tornado between Mullinville and Greensburg KS. Huge storm now over Greensburg, tornado may have missed. Rain-wrapped funnel might have skipped over according to emergency management.

. The Weather Channel is carrying an interview with Mr, Kiesling.

Other long lasting supercells are barrelling through the plains, some with strong rotation signatures on Doppler radar. Many storm chasers are on some of them. More footage may be in the offing.

Heads up out there!

Oklahoma into Kansas are under intense storm development potentials.

I will try to keep this post up as time goes by.

I-70 currently has large tornado about to cross

HILLARY CLINTON–divisive, non passive aggressive

Hillary Clinton’s referencing to assassination into this campaign season speaks volumes to her mental state.

You have time to catch Keith Olbermann’s special comment on her in a few minutes out west. I will soon hear his words myself.  (MSNBC–Direct TV-356)

She may have just done her campaign in.

Todays Tornadoes have started–5–21–08,4:18pm,ct.

Doppler radar has indicated a tornado possible west of Hays Kansas, about to cross I-70.

Tornado Watch boxes have gone up in Kansas, Eastern Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming.

Tornado now northwest of Cheyenne Wyoming.

The trouble with this years tornadoes has been both their number, and that many are long-lived, giving them a greater chance of meeting up with a town.

May is the number one tornado month, followed by June. They can occur in any month, and in all of the 50 states.

46 TORNADOES COUNTED–5-22-08

Yesterday’s outbreak included Southern California!

Where I live in Arizona, the potency of this system and jet stream dig, is evident with blustery cool conditions, and unusual heavy rains at times last night. We are scheduled to have sustained winds of 45 mph. again today in the afternoon as the big Upper Low Pressure creeps to the east.

The center of today’s most severe weather is anticipated to be in Central-west Kansas, but you know how it goes. This system is moving east, and it is not unheard of to have the sever weather appear north, south east, or west, or any combination of these, from (perhaps including) the anticipated meso scale area focus.

I would suggest to anyone in storm ravaged areas to join volunteer crews if you can. You will likely find strangers who are good people doing what needs to be done. The Red Cross and or other agencies may well come out of nowhere to feed you. There is nothing like helping your fellow’s at dealing with a huge mess that they are burdened by. The camaraderie and thankfulness will likely leave you with a new view about these strangers who now seem like family.

My experiences in these issues are located on my pages on my blog; TORNADO***CHASIE

Do Economic “Bubbles” Indicate A Drowning Economy? Well. I do not speak econolingo, but the metaphorical connection seems clear enough.  Though investors may seek to get in early on a bubbles bandwagon before it burst, hopefully selling out before the OH NO! event.  I believe the phenomenon speaks, or gurgles for itself. (A bubbles bandwagon?) - […]
