From Americans not caring if we are in Iraq for 10, 000 years. To the recent statement that changing our energy policies will keep us from having to go into the Middle East, John McCain must have clicked his heels thrice. No telling where he ended up though.

The direct assumption made by McCain was that we went into Iraq, not for all the stuff we have been told all these years, but for our gas guzzling lifestyle. By McCain’s view then; the “kooks” who were so cynical to say we were going to war for oil, the No Blood for Oil crowd, who were roasted as left wing fanatics and America haters, were right from the get go! America hates the truth?
