MOMENTS ARE INSIDE TIME

They last just a short while

feathers from a skyscraper

dreams sifting through night

.

Behind camouflaged moon

I lock away our salted tears

raining into penumbral sea

.

Time’s ever falling mountain

sinks into subterranean trench

submerging breath by breath

.

An invisible last chance was

a simple moments freedom

returning to where it came

.

It will never be again
